It is already!! I am here reading old thread ( all over again). They said they were going to start this week but I guess they are still behind since they lost one of their staff members. Hopefully they start tomorrow or Friday.

I would imagine it’s sometime this week they send out invites because the first interview date is the 24th correct ?

I completed it on January 8th

I took DAT twice, 17AA then 19AA (I scored low on Bio). cGPA: 3.89
Science GPA 3.77

That's some good stats! did you apply to dental school directly?

I did! but that bio score didn't get me anywhere 🙁
I am studying for the DAT now and applied to MBS as well b/c neither one is guaranteed

Because I know people that got in with lower stats. Unless you are specific with the schools you wanted to go. Those GPAs are way above average which is weird why you didn't even get anything this cycle.

Yea the DAT bio is so damn random, honestly, the first time I took it I used cliffs (read it 3 times), Bootcamp bio notes, and orgomans, yet I only got a 19. I studied for 5 and a half months and when I did the bio portion I literally guessed on every question. The questions were so broad that I had not seen most of the material since my undergrad bio classes.


I also had 2 cousins take the DAT with me the same month and said the exact same thing, dont even get me started with the math portion.

I agree with you on everything you said!! Dr. Lipman suggested that I use Iprep instead of Bootcamp so I purchased it and I don't feel like its preparing me for the real DAT at allll!! Yet, students who use iprep score above 20s and they all say that its worth every penny.

I did iprep and it didn't work for me. Most of the thing she explained super fast and it’s a study by yourself type of thing.

I got a 15 on bio, I called the schools I applied to and they all said it was my bio :/
I met with Dr. Lipman at Nova and he recommended that I retake DAT

If I were you I would just retake the DAT if your GPAs are not that old cuz those are some nice GPAs.
