I interviewed at NYU and got a really positive vibe from the residents. They all said they do minimal scut. But I heard differently from med students who have rotated there who said they felt the majority of the rotation was scut and they didn't learn anything.
So first, is this true about NYU? Is there an excessive amount of scut?
And next, does it even really matter how much scut there is? Does it affect how much you learn or your work?
