Hey, all. I was wondering: are dental students allowed to live in med student's dorms at NYU? I asked this question during my interview but the person I asked was unsure and did not know anyone in that situation.
Not sure but you might come out cheaper getting a roommate off campus. If you haven't already, i'd call student housing and get a sure answer from them.
Good Luck!

There is a first year dorm for very few dental students if you apply early. However, most people will live off campus with the med students in Waterside, Stuy Town, and Kips Bay

Thanks for the responses, everyone. I looked into this a bit more closely. It doesn't seem to be very common for dental students to live on campus, but it can be done. However, there's no guaranteed housing from year to year like there is for undergrads. In other words, you always have to be prepared to live off-campus. Not sure if it's worth the hassle.
