Just wondering what has been your experience so far with regards to applying to US medical schools ????

Anyone else from Ontario?

Hi,
I am from Ontario (at UWO). I;ve applied to 5 US schools, SUNY Upstate (interview on Feb 14), Einstein (havent heard anything since submitting secondary), NYMC (same as Einstein), Wayne State (just got secondary in the mail) and U Mich (didnt submit secondary). I hope to get in in Ontario, so the US schools are backups. I just can't wait for this whole process to be over! 😳

Hey Macs!

Another person from Ontario .. yay! I interviewed at Upstate back in October and it was an awesome experience. My interviews were very low stress. Everyone I met from the staff to the students were really personable and it's definately the kind of place I'd like to study medicine. The facilities were top notch!

I'm sure you'll have a great time there. Plus Syracuse is less than a 4 hour drive from Toronto. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions about the school.

Also, U Mich doesn't accept anyone who isn't a US citizen/permanent resident according to the e-mail I received from them so save your money!
