I just recieved word via phone call (I called them) from the Division of Psychology at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine that interview invitations have NOT been sent out yet, and they will be sent out within the next 10 days.

Just thought all you Feinbergers would like to know!

I'm still anxiously awaiting word from UMiami adult track too....

Also for the NW Feinberg folks, they told me that they will email you if your application is missing things.

Each faculty member determines when to send out invites @ U Miami - Graduate admission stated they play a part in this process. Perhaps contacting your POI, does anyone think this is a bad idea?

AhHHH, agony!!! I couldn't answer a phone call today because I was in a meeting. I later googled the area code and it was the area of Oxford, OH. So, I called it back and it rang to the Miami University switchboard! I missed the call from my POI!!!!! They'll call back right? I mean the rational side of me knows they will, but the anxious-checking-this-site-too-often side of me is kicking myself for not walking out of that darn grant meeting to answer a call from an unknown number! Blast!!

I applied to MSPP and Yeshiva. I haven't heard anything back from Yeshiva yet, but MSPP gave me an invite for an interview earlier this month. I applied early consideration; not sure if you applied early or general consideration and how that would change things.

Yay!!! There is still hope !! Thanks for letting us know 😀😀😀

It looks like all of my schools are shooting for the week of 1/25... YIKES!!! It could either be a really good or really BAD week!!!

p.s. I also had a heart attack until I read the whole thing as well. LOL!!!
 
Whenever I try to click on any link on the Interview Feedback page that's linked at the start of the thread, it just displays the school interview feedback "home page" again, even when I try logging in at the top. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks 🙂

I'm waiting on ALL of my schools still... Northwestern, UIC, Loyola (Chicago), DePaul, BU, UMass Boston, Columbia TC, and Fordham.

I now know that Loyola, NU, Columbia, and Fordham haven't sent out any invites yet, and probably not until last week in January. Have you heard anything from UIC??
 
hello everyone,

i got a call today around noon from the DCT at PGSP-Stanford 🙂. their interview dates are 2/2, 2/9, and 2/17, and i was asked to choose one.

No need- I just got an email from my POI (UMiami, Clinical Adult Track) for a phone interview! YAYYYY!
 
Also... the admissions person at DePaul wrote me back and said that the committee is meeting early next week for review, and an email should follow either mid- or late- next week. 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

after reading this thread at least 5x a day for a month, I have something to post!

Know that there's still hope even if someone gets an interview at one of your schools and you don't! I just received an interview invite from George Mason University (Clinical PhD; email from DCT; interview on 2/06 or 2/07), even though the first invites from GMU were sent in mid December.

I'm so excited!!!!!! 🙂

Has anyone else heard from their POI's in the Adult Track of U Miami? Are there more interview invitations coming? Anyone know?
 
UM Child POI's started making phone calls on Tuesday but it's not certain if all calls have been made.
 
Congratulations! May I ask which POI(s) you are interviewing with? I am interviewing with Dr. Quittner in Child Clinical.
 
I got my first interview invite... ever! I was contacted via email by my POI at University of Memphis for a telephone interview! So excited!!
 
has anyone heard anything from syracuse u? their deadlines are late (jan 1st), and last year their interviews were apparently end of feb, so maybe it's still kind of early. but if anyone knows anything, share?

I've heard from Drexel(jd/phd) and Chestnut Hill(PsyD) about interviews.

Has anyone her from CUNY, Stony Brook, Fordham, Temple, Fairleigh Dickinson, Southern Methodist, University of Connecticut, Rutgers or Hofstra?

I cant sleep at night waiting for my phone to ring!!

I have been contacted by the University of Miami- Child Division.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Vanderbilt, the University of Virginia, the University of South Florida, and the University of Nevada-Reno.

We've made it this far!! Good luck to everyone!
 
Jclinical, may I ask who your POI at Miami U is? I'm waiting for a response from them still....

UConn has NOT sent out all invites yet, in spite of the fast-approaching interview date. Hope springs eternal. Good luck!

Congratulations PsyDee!🙂 Did you get an email aside from the phone call? I'm really looking forward to PGSP, and since I'm not in the USA, I was wondering if they would send me an email instead of a phone call? (keeping fingers crossed!!!!)

do you know if pgsp-stanford has already made a decision for all interviews?? i haven't heard anything yet and i'm getting kinda nervous! if they haven't contacted me yet...does that mean i'm rejected?

I'm not sure... I checked last year's thread and some people got invites even around feb so I know there's plenty of time, but I'm also pretty nervous myself!🙁
 
when i got an interview at fairleigh dickinson u, I was notified at the end of jan/early feb.
 
there's still time--we're still processing apps, i know. interviews may even go on until march!
 
Interview at UMass Amherst. Phone call from POI today and interview is Feb 6 & 7. So excited!
First of many, I hope.
 
The graduate secretary at Wayne State sent me an email today (I emailed her) and said that they were still reviewing applications, interview invites will be extended in early February and the Interview date is Feb. 27th.
 
I got an email from USC saying:

"Dear Applicant, If you received an email inviting you to Graduate Preview Day by the Office of Admissions, please be aware that this is a generic email that was sent to all graduate applicants who apply to USC.

The Department of Psychology admission committee members are currently evaluating applications. This process will continue through February and likely into March. "

I think this means if you haven't been contacted before this to Grad Preview day, you probably aren't in the first round of applicants...?

Just got an interview invite for IUP's Psy.D. program! It was sent to 64 of us, so I would guess that they sent the invite to everyone at once. Best of luck to all who applied. I hope to see you all in February! (Interviews are Feb. 2-27.)

I don't think so! It sounds like they're just telling you that interview invites haven't gone out yet (they didn't want you to think that Grad Preview Day is the interviews), and you shouldn't expect to hear for a while. I wouldn't worry.

I just got an email from them as well - its my first interview invite ever, so I'm especially excited!!
