Rejection from uni missouri 🙁
 
Obviously rejected from Uni of Missouri/Columbia as well.....
 
Me too. Not sure what they are looking for.
So far my inbox has 4 IV and 4 rejection of 103 program I have applied.
I have applied to most of the program mentioned in the mast list for sending interviews but I have received from only 4.
What does it mean?
Am I in their candidates to call in case of cancellation list or silent rejection?
 
Has anyone heard anything from university of Arizona, metrohealth or UTMB ?

Long time lurker, tallying up what's on here and what's on the streets. I think it's picking up this week onwards, past GI applicants are saying the same, let's keep each other's spirits high. A current GI fellow told me interviews were offered to them until October 1st! It's not over, until it's over!

great. was expecting more from the west coast. didn't realize stanford and ucsf had sent out interviews already. oh well, will wait my rejections. 1/5 out west.👎

Two questions:

1) If we haven't gotten iv invites from the above listed programs, do we assume it is a rejection or is there some sort of roll over period, like are we on a wait list of sorts? Thoughts?

2) If a program we're highly interested in has sent out IV's as per the above list, is there any benefit to emailing the PD so express interest in the program at this point?

congrats on IV.

1. I'm assuming rejection or sitting on a waiting list that never moves. waitlist open up later as conflicts arise in scheduling. I had to drop one invite due to IV conflict date. They gave me a choice to take the date offered or be on the waitlist 👎. Some people hold on to the two IVs (on same date) and drop one later in the season. 🙄

2. I tried this with 5 programs. One program said thanks. One rejected me after my note, ouch!!!! the others did not respond.
 
Did anyone receive an email from Uni of Utah about sending invites next week?
 
Rejection from University of Chicago.....may be this is it for the season...looks like the worst season in many years....
 
- seems like last year, few people are dominating the invitations and the rest are watching, like a ping pong game.

- I got an email from the univ of Utah as well saying that my app is under review. According to my experience from residency and last year match, those notifications turn into rejections later on.
- it's not the end of the season, I think we only passed 50% of the process. Keep ur fingers crossed!

-That is 56 program out of 160. Still 100 programs left to send invites.

-I'm not sure who added SLU. My buddy is an internal candidate and told me that they finished reviewing the applicants this week and will be sending their invites on Monday!!!

-OHSU is the same as Ohio state university. It's listed twice.

I thought OHSU was Oregon Health Sciences University? Someone posted that they had a SLU interview, just trying to keep things organized, please change, correct, & update the list if needed. 100 programs is still a lot, here's to another week!

Any IMG requiring visa got IV here? Kindly share.

I guess that's the only good thing needed in any application. I have a decent profile but did not get any ivs yet probably coz I m on visa. You got in just on time (july) dude, 😉 congrats.
I am really curious to know if any IMG on visa got any interviews yet????
 
It's still early.

8 interviews so far, one rejection. Still waiting on well over half programs applied to.
 
I am an IMG on J1 visa and have 9 interviews. I think 60-70% invitations have been sent out but still more to come. Good luck!
