When I interviewed, some covered lodging and arranged transport to interview, although this may have changed since then.Do any programs cover any of the costs of interviewing (hotel, etc)?

Did anyone apply to Case Western?
Did I miss something? I thought Case doesn't have a program. Or is it just an osteopathic program?
It's been totally quiet the last few days! How about for you guys ?
One person posted about Columbia and another about NSLIJ...I haven't heard from any of the other NY programs yet.Did anybody else apply to ny/nj programs?
Anyone heard from Baylor? SLU?
And FYI I'm pretty sure case western is taking just DOs, I met a graduate from their medicine program and this is what they told me. And they also know who they are taking this year- really weird. On a side note I emailed the PD of IU and he said that they will only be in eras mid August! It's a new program but again, super weird !
Has anyone heard from vandy besides those initial invites?
AllergyHopeful, congrats for Baylor invite. Are you applying from Medicine side?
Thanks! I am applying from the peds side. My invite specifically indicated it was for the peds track, so it's possible that the medicine track invites were sent separately/not yet.
How many interviews were you guys planning to go to?
How many interviews are the non couple matching people considering? I was initially shooting for around 10, wonder if that is enough...

I guess it's reaching the point where interview invites that come now have a large chance of clashing with other scheduled interviews. For example, I just got an invite at a good program, but they only gave me two options for dates. I am scheduled to interview at other places on both those dates, and I still really want to attend those interviews. Do I just request to be on the waitlist for another date for this new invite? It's unfortunate, to say the least.
I think some places are more accommodating than others and will let you interview on a day not listed. You could also try switching your interview date at the other programs. Ultimately, you may just have to decide which program you're most interested in and which will more likely make the top of your rank list. I've already canceled a few interviews but there's still several good programs I haven't heard from and would be interested in but as some point you also need to make travel plans :/ good luck! Too many interviews is a good problem to have!
Yeah, it's definitely not a place I've been in before, or expected to be in now! But I'm very grateful. I emailed the program to ask about another day; we'll see what they say. I can't cancel or switch the other interviews because they're ones I'm really interested in, and I scheduled back-to-back interviews in the same city both those weeks.
