Good to hear from you, I miss the Step 1 thread crew! I'm a little bit worried because I went guns blazing all through M1-2 and worked outrageously hard, but I've really been coasting academically through M3. Mostly riding what's left of my Step 1 knowledge to 70-80th percentile shelf scores. Haven't touched Anki since the Step 1 days
I guess my target score is ~255 on CK which is 74th percentile - should be achievable I think if I start putting in work at some point. Been trying to do 20 UW questions/day through quarantine, am 600 questions into it at 72nd percentile on first pass.
I'm planning for a late CK - I feel like it can only hurt me at this point so I may as well push it off until after ERAS goes out. If I crush it, it doesn't change my app at all - people will just say "yeah, we know you can take multiple choice tests", but if I bomb it that would be sad. Especially with the COVID situation, it probably won't even raise eyebrows if I take it in Oct/Nov.
I've been neglecting the banjo sadly, but I just put some new strings on the geetar today! Trying to learn this awesome Tommy Emmanuel song and giving myself arthritis in the process. I'm not used to using my thumb on the fretboard like he does, so it's been really fun/difficult to learn that skill. Trying to work up Fig Leaf Rag on the piano. Been playing a ton of video games - Oxygen Not Included, State of Decay 2, Starcraft 2, Warcraft 3.... Got a rowing machine and am hitting that every day, pushups pullups situps... Living my best life!
How about you man?
