I think my eyes will automatically zone in on those two (hopefully! :laugh:

) numbers and that one letter. Well . . . mostly the two digits! Crap, I'm nervous.

yea i got tests in all my classes this week before fall break, so should fly by really quick, just hard to study with the damn scores comin out so soon.

I know, I can't believe it's about four days away. In case you guys are first-timers, I would recommend checking out the thread that shows you what the scores look like on the screen, because the first number will be 30, which is the number marking the test series, and NOT your score. The next numbers as you read from left to right are the sections in the order that you took them, so PS will be first, then VR, then WS, then BS. The next number will be the total score. So if you want to see your total score, read from right to left! 😛

Just don't think that 30 is your score, because it will be the first number you see and you will be relieved, only to look over and see that 30 probably isn't your score. I took this test last August, so the first number was 28, and then in April when I took it it was 29, so I was kind of relieved I hadn't done really awful the first time, only to find my real score was a bit lower than 28. 😳

Can't wait for Thursday night!

Good Post!!! I would have definitely made that mistake had I not known beforehand... is there any way to be expecting the scores on the screen? I mean... once you log on, is there any type of splash screen or warning window that pops up saying something like "You are about to see your scores for the Aug 2005 test, are you ready?" Well maybe not like that 😛 but how much time do I have to cover up my eyes once I hit enter on the keyboard to log in!?!?!? (I'm already practicing my eye-cover up for the big day :scared:

)

Well, beginning from Thursday evening or night we have to be careful when we log on the server, becoz who knows when the scores are up? I hope it's a good surpise for all of us, and that all of us do well! 🙂

Yeah, no way am I going in blindly! I'm going to check SDN before any logins to Thx on Thursday, because AS SOON AS scores are out, someone on here is going to post a thread. I'm just going to make sure it's posted by a familiar screename, and then I'll be ready to brace myself. 😱

so why is it going to come out on the 14th?? i thot that its suppose to be 60 days after we take it..?? is that 60 days??

so if my score is worse than april 2005, can i not send them to the schools, even though i told the schools i was going to take it??

Nope, it's common...I feel I'm already getting a sore throat myself, and I don't think it's just cuz of flu season.

Because some schools have deadlines on October 15th, 2005, and it would confer an unfair advantage to students who may be applying at these schools, especially if they are their state schools and the schools they'd have the best shots at.

Ya know, I think there's a curve, but I've heard that the April is a little better than the August cuz in August, a lot of ppl are re-takers and there's a lot more ppl generally taking it in August cuz we've had all summer to study...any thoughts about this, anyone?

I had friend of mine, who took a semester off while taking the April MCAT, so do you think that person has an advantage because he/she did not go to school since the December had full four month hard core studying while in summer, people study for two/three months. What about those odds messing up the whole curve?

Hmm...idk...we're just gonna have to see on Thurs! Don't forget, some passages in the actual test itself are experimental ones, i.e. they aren't counted towards our score...no use in worrying now since what's done is done, and the worst that can happen is taking 'em over again (sigh).

what if someone else a friend of mine took it for the third time last august. thank god it was my first time, so I still have chance, but I worry about my friend who took it for the third time last August. Hope she gets a good score. orelse, she would Vomit on me I know and it would make everything freak for me.

She told me... I don't know if it was a truth or not. the highest she had was 21 O on real MCAT she took last august. seriously. On the last practice test she had down to 30 some. I think she is a liar though, no one really gets a high score, do they?
