I would not lose hope. The interviewer was most likely confusing you with the EDP people, especially since you had an early interview. Just wait till the 15/16 day when regualr decision people begin to get notified.

yeah, i have a hunch that she did get me confused with the ED people. still nervous either way! i need to know soon so i can make up my mind on some of my other interviews. i'm missing so much school for them right now 😱

Hey, did you get a pre-interview snail mail correspondence by any chance?? Obviously it would be much better for me to get a "good luck" then a "no soup for you!" message. 😀

I didn't get any pre-interview snail mail correspondence from pitt. In fact, the only snail mail correspondence I got from them I just got an email message about the interview invite (and then the status page changed so I could access the interview scheduling option).

So I think this waiting truly is adversely effecting me. Last night I actually dreamt I was accepted at UPenn. I really need to not check SDN before bedtime...

Can't you see that I'm Jackie's Man of Mystery? Erina is Jackie's best friend. We have a love triangle of sorts going on. There was once talk of producing a reality tv show based on our story.

I got your back D-man. In fact, I thought I was gonna have to lay the smack down here too for my thread getting hijacked, but mymichelle74 rescued it from Erina's Stalker. 😀 (just kidding back4more, .... uh, kinda 😉).
 
Hey by the way, the stress of everything must be heavier on me than I thought. I just got back from having to rush to the ED for a screwed up heart rhythm with tachycardia (SVT). Dude ... it was scary cause I didn't know what was going on. My heart rate spontaneously shot to over 180 bpm and wouldn't come down. And the injections of adenosine to bring it down was definitely no fun at all. Just saying. Looks like i'm ok now. Of course I had to immediately check SDN to see what I missed when I got home. Crazy.

Whoa, sorry to hear about the scare. What can I suggest? A trip to the beach always puts me at ease. I love "me" time.

Erina-

I also miss our love triangle with looque. But I am very happy to see that Jackie is back on SDN to keep the game up with new potentials possibly. Good luck to both of you as always

yes, the love triangles were a nice way of ignoring the stress of this application process. we should find a new obsession to fight over for awhile 😛

Ahhhh it feels like the MCAT again. I have two schools that I might hear from on the 15/16............dear lord baby jesus please just let it be good news!
 
I know a lot of schools send out info just after October 15th, but I am anxiously awaiting the end of November, when Northwestern sends out their first set of acceptance offers!

I have 2 schools too - but I'm not holding my breath. One is really prestigious and I'm shocked I even got an interview and the other accepts almost no OOSers. 🙁
