Anyone get a call from UoP? What are the chances of an "alternate interview" eventually getting an acceptance?
 
Maryland and Tufts interview invites!! My application was complete very late, and these are two of my favorites. So incredibly thankful.

Congratulations! What dates were you offered for Tufts? I'm very jealous, Tufts is a dream school 🙂
 
Thank you! I was offered Jan 23-26. (Just watched the Celtics live, woo! haha 🙂
 
got accepted to SIU Dec. 1 🙂 🙂 got an email and a call the next day
interviewed at SIU on oct. 24 and UIC the week prior
got rejected from Case Western and Columbia
Indiana University wants my fall grades before deciding to offer me an interview or not.
I haven't heard from any other schools yet! I sent my aadsas app out pretty early in the summer.
Residency: Illinois
PAT:21 NS:18 oGPA: 3.4

I know right.. my theory is that Lecom felt I was over qualified?
 
AADSAS mailing date was 11/04, but my committee letter went in like Dec 20 🙁 Just received a UPenn invite today, as well. Chin up, late applicants -- for whatever reason you applied later, you deserve a fair shot.

how did penn invite you? email or snail mail?

Gah, my mailing date was 08/19 and I was complete by September and still have no news from Penn. Confused.

Actually I called today, they said no decision had been made yet. I asked them when I could expect to hear back and they nonchalantly said "probably this week." I'm not holding my breath though. 🙁

Cleanup -- Oh man, does it have anything to do with being a Canadian applicant? (I feel horrible saying that...your stats are amazing.) Congrats on your acceptances, and I'm sure you will hear from penn!!

I don't know, I heard someone else got their acceptance same day (from a past interview). NYU told me the same week. I'm sure it's all very circumstantial (school, time in cycle, how the interview went, etc). 😕

I can only imagine it does, and I can only imagine that's why I haven't heard a peep from the majority of schools I've applied to (even some presumably Canadian-friendly ones like Boston U and Tufts). Who knows? Dental schools seem awfully clandestine about this stuff. I haven't received a single rejection yet but would rather get them than continue to wonder what's going on. :3
 
Interview from Tufts via email yesterday! The first date available was Feb. 2nd. My only other interview this cycle was Roseman which I have yet to hear from. Yeah!! 😀😀
 
I was accepted (via email) at 6:30pm tonight at Maryland....top choice!

AADSAS submission date: 11/4/11
Interview: 11/22/11

Anyone know of any news from USC? I feel like I haven't heard anything about them in a while.
 
Has anyone recieved an interview from NYU or Temple in 2012? Does anyone know if/when they will be sending out more?
 
Tufts said at the interview last week that they had about 1/3 of the class filled, still plenty of spots.
 
Just for you late go getters like me, I just recieved 3 interviews for late January (Asdoh, Western, UNLV)I was very late putting my package in and my stats aren't exactly top notch, however my overall package is solid. So, even though I may be fighting to be wait listed, it should give all those who put their package in late a little bit of hope.
