Congrats on your Baylor interview! I'm starting to get concerned about Texas schools, they haven't shown me any in-state love yet🙁! My stats are fairly similar to yours, but I had my apps submitted and complete a little before yours so I don't know why I haven't heard back from any of them yet.

I thought so too. Don't trust that TMDSAS finds and corrects all mistakes made when entering course information. I had applied to Houston only last cycle and TMDSAS had adjusted how I classified one of my courses, so I took that to mean there were no other errors. After resubmitting everything as of is this year, it was not until I was working on the AADSAS I found the one course I made a mistake on. :/ It probably would not have been as big a deal if I had not made the mistake favoring my GPA. So that's what I mean. I am in-state and I have not heard anything from all the Texas schools besides receipt of my application. I would think mistakes like that would definitely matter because they are fairly competitive schools.

For one thing, the schools themselves probably don't have enough time to look over every single person's transcript and verify the grades for each one...that's what TMDSAS is for. I guess if it was a prereq then they might be looking at it specifically but even then, they might not notice the classification discrepancy. Also, you could email them with the correct information and explain the situation...especially since TMDSAS kind of made a mistake as well, I don't think they'll be too hard on you.

They interview like 200-300 in state applicants per cycle and have probably handed out like 10%, maybe 15% of that (since there are people who are not on SDN getting invites as well I'm sure.) There is SO much time left!

This is literally the exact thing that happened to me. I applied to Medical School 2 years ago, so my course info for TMDSAS was already filled out, and I didn't think to look it over. I too found a mistake when copying it to AADSAS🙁 And I know for a fact I had put the info in correctly when I filled it out for Medical School, so I don't know how/why just the one class got changed (from a "W" to an "A").

Last cycle from what I recalled, first round of acceptance was sent via email on Dec 3, 2012 at ~12am for both BCD and UTHSCSA and at ~10am for UTSD. (all CST) Total interviews from each schools: BCD ~220 students, UTSD ~270 students, and UTHSCSA ~UTSD. ~15 seats at BCD are unobtainable due to the PBP and ??? seats at UTHSCSA are acquired by students in the DEAP.

My post was made in order to clarify as to whether it was a mistake made while typing or actually the AADSAS mail out date, which is a legitimate question to ask when the whole point if this thread is to see stats, when things were submitted, and when interviews were given out.

I'm definitely not trying to take a dig at Glimmer...just wondering.

Yep! 😀 I was kicking myself for not having researched and applied to Case sooner, but it has luckily all worked out. The school (especially the admissions department, which I have already experienced first-hand) just seems way too all-around awesome for me to skip up.

I really was in the first batch for all of my other schools, though! I've had everything done for what feels like forever. 🙂

Hah! Koalafied, I suppose that I might mention SDN in my interview, even if it's just briefly... After all, Dr. Chuck being active on here is what led to me research/apply to the school! Their involvement on social media in general is definitely a big reason for me regarding the question, "Why Case?" Through it, it is clear to see that CWRU genuinely cares about its students and wants to see them be successful. I greatly respect how they work to make their admissions process as transparent as possible for us! They are totally "on-the-ball," organized, and helpful. It has aided me tremendously, and I know it has done the same for many others.

I'm really excited about my interview--I've only heard great feedback about students' experiences with it. I also think it's nice that they only interview ~5 students on each available date; it seems like it will be very personal. 🙂

Thanks! I never got an email from MWU about the invitation; the only email I ever received was confirming the date after I scheduled an interview from the portal. Not sure if this is the norm, but for me I'm treating it as vindication for checking every 10 minutes haha 🙄

Do you have an iPhone? If so, there is a free calling app that works over the Internet and is free. It's called text free plus voice. You can call your cell phone number and check messages that way, or you can buy a cheap calling card and check your messages.
