Lol. Haters gonna hate. I would love to interview there, or anywhere for that matter! The best dental school in the country is the one you get accepted to. Datgirldoe also commented in another post how LECOM shouldn't be taken seriously (among other reasons in their opinion) because their library doesn't have books. Wut. Who cares? You know, I just got my Master's degree from a brand new medical school (four/five years old), and their library hardly had any books. Everything was digital. It was great and NO ONE there even said this was a problem. Yet somehow, they successfully graduated their first med class this summer. Yeah, med and dent are different but the book situation in particular is the same.

Congrats on the interview. I'm glad to see someone like you picking one up, especially because you and I have VERY similar stats. Congrats to everyone else too!

I know, right? When I applied, I told myself that I wouldn't freak out until the end of October because that would be the last month pre-December interviews could be handed out. Boy was I wrong. So far, it seems that this month has been slow for SDNers. Looks like it will be tough getting any more pre-December interviews from this point on.

Pay no mind to this guy, LECOM was really impressive in person. With only a D1 and a D2 class at the moment, some of the selling points of the school are still conjecture, but I see no reason why they won't follow through. Just wait till you see their clinical "pods", they're incredible!

They sent me a rejection through e-mail saying I wasn't competitive. So I'm assuming its based on my low reading score I think...
