Right, but given the ease of availability (SERIOUSLY even most college profs wouldn't be able to put their hands on 1/5 of what he had in his little storage locker) and the fact that HF is actually technically a weak acid AND the fact that it's incredibly dangerous (to live people...pretty sure dead people don't have a beating heart to screw with)...it's at least 20x better in his situation to use a base, which would be more efficient than an acid anyway. I think heat is less problematic than OH GOD THE FLOOR MELTED! AND THE ONE BELOW IT! AND IF IT SPLASHES ME I DIE alsdh;akghakdgh...

Volleyball?Oh man, that sucks...thank god my school had all of its midterms before break...it may have been a miserable week, but at least it meant Break was all fun and games! Well, except for the time I didn't finish my exams and ended up doing a closed-book polymer chem take-home exam IN THE CAR with a bunch of teammates on the way to our first warm-weather tournament.
That didn't go so well...

Freakin' awesome vid! I love frisbee and always wanted to play. But I was always either holed up in the bowels of the library studying, working, conducting research, or drinking. LoL
I need to practice the difficult throws and join a team in med school. I know that'd take care of my destress needs really well.

I always found that I was about 8x as productive academically when I threw myself into frisbee, even though it sucked up ~2hrs/day and 100% of every other weekend. On the plus side, it quite often included the drinking aspect, so I didn't have to schedule that in as much! Besides, my team was really nerdy; I learned more about abstract mathematics over a team dinner than I ever dreamed of looking into academically!
Sadly, I'll be out of my college eligibility by med school 🙁 You only get 4 years out of 5 consecutive years, and I meet neither criterion.

Meh, I used to be good at soccer, but it's just not my group. I'll find a club team somewhere...there's definitely an attitude to frisbee that I haven't found in other sports. Now that I've been on one, I can't imagine going back to a sport with a coach, or referees, or fewer silly costumes...not to mention the booze+casualnudity!

I like European football, but I love US soccer! Season tickets, baby! I know the soccer is worse, but when you are close enough to hear what they're saying on the field word-for-word, it's way more exciting than a TV match of higher caliber!

Yeah, but I don't watch TV very often, and I'm sorry, but there's a huge difference between video footage of a game and sitting in the stands.
I love good soccer as much as the next person, I just happen to dislike TV and LOVE real games, having a home team, and following a league which I can trash talk about to my family, which is spread across the US!
I NEVER never never ever claimed that US soccer skills was anything close to European; I specifically said the opposite. I just said that I enjoyed following US soccer more because I can go to every single home game in person! Not sure how you can disagree with me on that...
And yeah, IniestaDe is right, Zidane will always be known for the headbutt more than anything else...poor guy screwed himself over with that one!

Haha, not fighting, I just didn't want to risk being labelled as the idiot who can't appreciate real football skills!
And mine happen to be particularly exciting because the Earthquakes are a last-minute team. I swear the percentage of goals scored after the 80th minute...not to mention how many are scored after the 90th (like our winning goal this weekend!) How often do you get to sit in the stands and know that, even though you're in stoppage time, this is one of the most likely times for your team to score?!? It's crazy awesome!
