Hopefully someone else hasn't done this, because I could not use the search feature. This is for the 2004 edition of RR Pathology by Goljan. Please include all past corrections when posting new ones.

1. Page 187, it states TB is the most common infectious disease that causes death worldwide. On page 381, 7th edition of Robbins and Cotran Pathologic Basis of Disease it states that HIV is the most common infectious disease causing death worldwide. I've also found several websites that state HIV has surpassed TB.

His 2006 version says AIDS (3.1 million / year) over TB (1.7 million/ year).

Let's be clear---the cause of death is AIDS & not HIV. Your correction, however, is correct and will be reflected in the 2006 edition.

Yeah they're in his new Kaplan notes too. 😀

OSU, do you happen to have any more information on when the book is going to be available?

Thanks.

Well he is in the middle of writing it, so I don't anticipate it being ready until the spring or summer.
