The patch is very...coaster-like.
The white coat ceremony is definitely something to look forward to, as is the memorial service for the body donors in September.
I have an apple powerbook G4 and it is the best thing ever, I've had no problems with it, in fact I think it's an advantage because
1) It weight less than most of my textbooks and I can very easily throw it in my backpack and cart it around.
2) There are no virus issues with an Apple. I have not had to buy any security software for this thing, even though the boneheads at ITS (sorry shoddy) told me that I needed to shell out the big bucks for it.
3) There has never been a program I haven't been able to use on this computer. In fact, I think apple software (iTunes, iPhoto, iChat) is pretty nice (I had an HP through college and I would not go back). Stedman's Electronic medical dictionary for some reason uses OS 9.2, but it just sort of opens itself up somehow and isn't a problem.
While I'm throwing in my 2 cents, I'll mention that I really, really, really like the gym here at UNE a lot. It's not huge but it doesn't need to be, and it's friendly and free (yes, for UNECOM students).
That is all. Don't freak out, kiddos, about where you're going to live or whatever...It'll fall into place. Save the freaking out for this time next year. 😉
