Can anyone currently attending Pittsburgh Dental PM so we can just chat and go over a few things? That would be very helpful!

Me too! I got into UCLA, one of my state schools, but I really loved Pitt!
 
Does anyone know what kind of computer/technology Pitt requires their students to have? I only read a vague description of “new Mac or PC” on their site. Looking to maybe ask for help with it as a Christmas gift!
 
For current D1 students, what are common apartments students live in? I am trying to calculate a rough estimate for cost.

I got a Macbook Pro. Those and the Surface Pro (I think... the one with the pen) are the most popular. You don't "have" to buy a newer laptop, but dental school costs a ton as it is, so is a good laptop really that much more of a burden? As long as it's fairly new you should be fine. You could always email the IT people to see if your computer will work with all of the programs we use. We use Examplify for some tests and there are programs for Axium and X-rays too.

All depends on where/how you want to live (single room or roommate). I believe I'm paying about $750 per month with a roommate including utilities within walking distance of the school. Places in the city can get pricey fast, and you will pay a ton for parking if you have a car, which isn't worth it because the buses take you everywhere. Buses are free for students. They will give you info on where students like to live, but if you want it early Tracey might be able to give it to you if you contact her.

hmmm mine was delivered over a week ago and I still have not received an email? I guess I will call tomorrow, do you know who sent you the confirmation email that the check was received?

They should give out a new round of interviews pretty soon! The beginning of post Decs will be after the deposit due date for first round acceptances. In the past they have called on the phone to ask if you’re still interested, then sent along the necessary info. There is still plenty of time if you didn’t get an interview or acceptance.
 
I have my interview on Wednesday. Any advice about the interview would be greatly appreciated! Very nervous!
 
Did anyone that interviewed yesterday get that scholarship email they said they were going to send out?
 
If they are really done sending out interviews, will they at least have the courtesy to tell those of us who have heard nothing since "application complete" that they are done, or are they just going to ghost us forever?

Unfortunately, I think most schools just ghost you. I had several I applied to and heard nothing from
 
For the people that interviewed on 1/16, when did she say we would hear a decision by? Not before Feb 1st right? Just wanted to make sure because I know our scholarship application is due on Feb 10th.

I'm wondering the same thing! They said anywhere from 2 weeks to a month to even early March - just dependent on when the board meets and decides!
