Does anyone know how many IS vs OOS interviews are offered?
They said this year they're interviewing about 550 people, but don't ever give out the IS:OOS split. My personal guess is that they likely don't have more than 150 IS people interviewing, but that's just me spitballing 🤷‍♀️

Haven't heard back yet. Does it take a while for interviews to be sent?

IS interview invite! This is my second time applying. I applied OOS last cycle and was rejected. Since then, my undergrad and science GPA went up slightly and I did a graduate certificate program with the University of Florida on the care and conservation of aquatic animals. This cycle I only applied to 4 schools: tOSU, Purdue, Michigan, and Virginia-Maryland. My GPA for undergrad was around 3.4 something. My graduate GPA is a 3.88. I also used the opportunity to explain why my GPA was lower (COVID, a teacher who refused to give A's is responsible for 2 C's on my transcript, having 2 babies but still maintaining good grades during that time). I learned a lot from my first cycle. Congratulations to everyone who got an invite. To those who didn't: don't give up!

Are they still sending out emails? I still haven’t received one

I got an OOS interview waitlist spot... does anyone know how likely it is to get off the waitlist?

I still have not heard anything...maybe I'll hope for tomorrow at this point?
At this point I’m kind of worried I’m not going to hear at all. Realistically I know I will but it’s just strange I haven’t heard anything yet. Last year I heard within an hour probably of everyone else’s invites going out? But this is sending my anxiety through the roof

Me too!

Curious for students who have applied before: the website for interviews says offers are rolling between January and April; do they really do this or do they mostly release on one day?

I think last year it was just one day. I got it the day they said they would send them (they sent an email) out and I think most people got them within an hour of each other.

Last year, did they say it would be "rolling" like they did this year? Just trying to guage if they've changed something this year.

Do you have a link to where you saw that?

I think the interview page is talking about admissions decisions being rolling, not interview invites. Unless you saw that interview invites would be rolling somewhere? On the facebook page Sandra from admissions said decisions would come out on Monday and didn't mention anything about rolling.

Yeah, I was talking about admissions. I wanted to check if those who got interview invites were told that admissions would be rolling or all on one day last year.

The link is sent to people with interview invites. I think we aren't supposed to send it out because there is a page to sign up for the date of your interview. The page says "Rolling offers between January - April"

Ohh! Let me check my email for interview invite last year and see what it said

It's probably going to be in the link they sent (if they did it like that last year). But it might not be active.

Yeah I just checked and it looks like it’s the same link. The actual body of the email doesn’t say anything about it either. I want to say it also said rolling last year because I picked the first interview date thinking I would hear back sooner about a decision but I heard the same day as everyone else

Okay this makes me feel way better. I just panicked because I picked the last date (traveling/other interviews scheduled the first two) and got scared thinking my chances of getting in are gonna be lower than they would be if I had an earlier interview. What day did they let everyone know last year?

Maybe they say rolling because IS is first or people will be taken off the waitlist?

They let everybody know via email the morning of February 7th last year. The day you interview has no effect on your chances of getting in!

I'm not sure what they mean by rolling admissions. It's not like Ross or LMU, we all found out on the same day!

However (if you look back on last year's thread) *some* people got an email around 10-11pm on February 6th. Those of us who didn't get the email could check our portals and see our decisions though and then got the acceptance email the next morning. They must've had some weird error that sent some emails out, idk if we ever really found out what happened LOL
