Unfortunately I do not think there will be any more interview invites. The dean stated at the info session that they were cramming all interviews into 8 days and making decisions in January. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news 🙁

I believe OSU is done with interviews and have moved on to decision making. so no more invites or interviews. Congrats to those that got accepted.

I think the "rounds" of interviews are done as others have said, but OSU is one of those schools that goes quite far into their wait-lists. The dean talked about how they do have straggler interviews in the spring once their waitlist starts running short, so you never know! If OSU is somewhere you really really want to go, then writing a letter of intent definitely can't hurt at this point, and maybe they'll be much more inclined to take you as one of their straggler interviewees.
 
The dean said they accepted one girl on the eve of her class starting, so ya know, hold in there. I wouldn't delay alternative plans in the mean time but I wouldn't forsake all hope either.
 
Thanks to everyone who replied...and thank you to those that gave some words of encouragement. I have sent a letter of intent (hopefully sending it was the right decision and that it doesn't come off as desperate) as OSU is certainly near the top of my list.

Ahhhhh I can't stop checking my phone and this forum!!!! I want to know so badly. Sorry,just needed to vent. Back to this stupid teambuilding workshop.

soo... i JUST got back from skiing about 5 minutes ago (no phone signal out in the boonies) and checked my status page.. it now says decision.. AHHH and its past 5, which means i have to wait until 8am tomorrow to call.. does anyone think that is a good thing?? OHHHHH the misery of waiting

wouldn't they leave you a voicemail if they called and you didn't answer?
 
I'd think about calling them. Mine's still listed as AcadReview. But then again, they've said in the past that the vet school isn't linked to that page. But then again, again, 'Decision' sounds pretty official. Just pre-face the call with 'it says decision, is that related to the vet school at all?' or something similar.


Anyhow, seeing the time listed on my phone, instead of 1 missed call, is getting very annoying lol.
 
I looked at my status page at 4:45 and it said "decision." It also said that a letter had been sent by mail, but since I won't be back at my house until January, I couldn't wait that long and called the office of admissions. She said that they would have called me tomorrow, but that since I had already called, she told me the results. 🙂 So if your status has been changed to decision, they'll probably let you know tomorrow if you were offered a seat. Good luck!
Also, I kind of had a hunch that it was going to be good news because the status of my required items said I needed to complete a couple of classes by the end of next semester...
 
congrats!!!! How do you check the status? I never got the email with my username and password in it. I have checked my inbox many times and never found one. I did get one last year (I don't remember it), but I dont' have a login name this year. I really wanna check my status!
 
If your thing says decision, then click on "show more information on status"

then click on "show status of required items"

the first couple of items should be your transcripts,

THEN, there are a couple of new things:

"Professional Career Accept Fee - status: notified "

and

"Prof VetMed Deposit - status: notified"

I'm not sure if they only put that up there after they've notified you, but it's worth looking at! good luck :xf:!

AHHHH i hope its good news for me then! T-minus 14 hours until 8am for me to check 🙂 I would choose this school over my IS so I am super excited (i hope)!!

mine also says that there is one outstanding class to complete.. microbiology, which I did this semester and this wasn't added before this status was changed..
 
Has anyone in-state heard anything post-interview? I wonder if they do us separately because we are sort of a different pool?

I don't think there's been anything so torturous thus far as having the status say decision made but with no further information!

YES. I noticed it about a half hour ago and keep going back and forth in my head on whether this is a good sign or bad sign. I don't have any updates on the status page besides DECISION, but then again, i've completed all the requisite classes. I definitely won't sleep well tonight
 
I have "decision" too, saying the "conditions of admission" are biochemistry and microbiology. Here's to hoping for good news tomorrow! Good luck everyone! 🙂
 
Oi ve...I wonder if they've made all their decisions already (since so many are popping up recently). Mine still says AcadRev but that may be code for rejected. The OOS acceptance spots are quickly declining at any rate!
 
Is this sad? I really just want to get on the waitlist. I don't think I got in...so I just want to have hope as an alternate hah

Mine said "decision" last year, and I was rejected. But the "admission requirement" comment does sound hopeful!! :xf: Let us know what they say when you call them!

hmmmm so maybe if it still says academic review then you are on the waitlist. I guess we will see!! This stinks though, because if I don't find out today, I'll probably miss the call. I'll be out of the country until January 2nd
 
I've been accepted as well!!!!!!!!!!!!! :laugh:

As a side note: I also applied to the vet public health masters program and I got accepted into that a couple of days ago but my status page doesn't reflect that and still says academic review. So maybe the status page for the vet school is entirely up to date either????

Did anyone else apply to the vph-mph program?

Any new Decision status' today? Or did anyone who didn't have one yesterday get a call?
