Hello!
I'd like to make a kind of long story semi-short. I have a pretty crappy GPA, some of it due to my lack of studying and others due to going through a rough time ending a 5 yr emotionally abusive relationship. I think getting a masters can help me prove to adcoms I am capable of doing well in courses while helping me mature and learn better study habits. I've read on here only pick a masters you'd love learning about. I was curious if anyone knew of NC State animal science masters online or how it was run. My other option was doing a MPH from my local university. The last option I was thinking about was the online UF Veterinary Science masters with a concentration on shelter med, anyone know much about this one? I have a job that I absolutely love and I am gaining so much experience which is why I was looking at online programs besides the one at my local uni. I'd really like to avoid moving if I could. Those 3 programs are the ones I could see myself loving and wanting to immerse myself in. Are online programs looked down upon? Overall, I just want to get some opinions on the best options for me.
Also, I emailed UF pre-vet advisor and she mentioned the only one that would count toward my sciGPA was the animal science degree. If I went another route, how could I raise my sciGPA? I was also curious if graduate certificates helped at all or if I should just get a masters?
