I have used PASS now for 3 years in trying to apply for ortho. Does anyone else feel the process is absolutely ridiculous with the amount of $ it costs, the redundant information that each program requires, the incorrect information that PASS. Every year i tear my hair out. Any one else agree?

This is my first year using PASS, so I suppose I can only empathize regarding the $$$. What kind of incorrect information are you referring to?

How about incorrect information in regards to what the PASS search engine sais is required and then what the actual program page sais. How about incorrect email address' to contact said programs, how about the redundant information that you have to send?

Perfect example of a middle-man (or woman to be PC). I don't know why we pay for this service. You're right, info is so old and inaccurate. I actually prefer applying to schools that are non-PASS, I found it easier to confirm what they actually want. The director of OMFS @ my school said that the info for the current year was submitted well over a year ago and most programs don't bother updating info. Just a curiosity art240, how many interviews have you had each year. Also, if u don't mind what are your stats? I'm applying this year for the first time to ortho, I guess I'm ready for the roller coaster ride from hell. Good luck anyhow.
