PBL at Colorado State

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Do you guys know the extent to which PBL is incorporated in the curriculum at Colorado State?

I'm mainly just bumping this up in hopes of a current student seeing it and answering! I really haven't heard of much of anything that sounds like PBL there, but I am very curious to hear more (seeing as how I applied there, I really should know!).

Anyone?

ya, i'm also an applicant this year and hadn't heard about pbl there until yesterday when i was randomly browsing the faqs on their website and came across this:
What is Problem-based learning, and does CSU provide PBL opportunities?
Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is an instructional modality in which small groups of students work through clinical, case-based "problems" with the aid of a faculty facilitator. The purpose of these exercises is to help students develop clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, e.g. to "think like veterinary practitioners." In addition to PBL or PBL-like case discussions in individual courses throughout the curriculum, a PBL course is offered as an elective in the Spring of Sophomore year.

I'm wondering how many of those individual courses are PBL

I'm a 3rd year, and the sophomore elective PBL class is the only specifically-PBL class we have. However, there are lots of cases presented in lecture, and homework and tests are often case-based.
