I applied at the end of January, and I was notified of an interview around February 8th by email.

Well I just checked I was notified for an interview on Feb 24th.My materials were officially received on February 8th.

So how long were you put in the waitlist? After that, did they call or send you a letter about acceptance?
I interviewed in October and got waitlisted two weeks after then I received the acceptance packet feb 28th in the mail.

Does anyone have a degree already?
i will actually be walking for my degree weekend before orientation i think lol however i dont think their decision was based on that though all my prereq's have been complete for over a year and a half now

Ok I graduate in May and mine have been completed also. I hope to be all of your classmates in the fall!

Hey, did you receive any emails from the PCOM for the interview??
I haven't yet, but just wonder if anybody received.
Thanks.

Sorry-I just got waitlisted for Mercer, so I know how you feel...just have hope-you could get pulled off the list and accepted. At least that's what I keep telling myself anyway...good luck with everything!

Thanks!! I hope it works out for both of us!

Fingers crosses for both you guys :xf: remember I was waitlisted myself it sucks but if I can get off y'all can to!

Thanks so much!🙂 I hope I even get an interview from PCOM soon...they may take issue with some of my pre-reqs (some are quite old, like 8-9 years old...). Maybe I'll hear something this week or next week. Sucks that you can't call to get a status update...

What I noticed is they do things on tuesdays or thursdays and I usually get the emails late at night like 9pm (florida). Make sure you are checking your spam email to because mine showed up there. Prereqs unless they are core science courses like Organic chem I don't see this being an issue. I would also imagine they would say something to you about it, along the lines of "must retake so and so course". This (in my mind) would be similar to being accepted before you finish a prereq course.

I posted back in February about my interview being the following day, well I received a reply in about 10-12 days. If you're accepted, you'll receive a confirmation packet with all of the materials you have to soon return to reserve your seat. Anyone who is nervous about the interview or doesn't know what will be asked should rest easy knowing it's a very laid back interview with basic questions. Finally, I look forward to seeing anyone who is accepted for the class of 2018 in the fall!

Does anyone know when their last interview session is? I talked to someone that goes there and they said they will consistently pull off the waitlist after the last interview

No I don't but they still will pull off the waitlist regardless, a rolling process.

Hey guys,

So I received an interview for PCOM at the end of this month April. I'm for sure going. I have been accepted to a school in Hartford which is a 3 year program - Uni. of Saint Joseph SOP. I'm torn between the two schools. I know I haven't even gone to the GA interview and am thinking way too ahead as I might not even be accepted.

Where would you guys rather go? to PCOM or to St. Joe's? I've never been to Georgia. Is it a nice, big city feel? Is it diverse?

If anyone has any info on the area please let me know. I know the school is outside of Atlanta, but is it a nice, lively place to live?

and, um, I'm living near Atlanta
guess it is a good town to live.
But the SUWANEE where the PCOM campus is located is not in the Atlanta, approximately 10 to 20 mins away from the downtown. it depends on traffic.
That SUWANEE area is very diverse, Asian town is right near there.
If you have your own vehicle, try the DULUTH area. That's bit more developed than SUWANEE and only 5 to 10 mins away from the SUWANEE, so no reason to not live in that DULUTH area.

Have anyone heard back from PCOM? I tried to email the lady in admission office but she never replies to me.

Good luck with EVER getting a reply from her, seriously! I'm still waiting to get any response about my application-I haven't even had an interview invite yet! SMH

Congrats @xiem5xoay and @asiangirl-I'm happy for you both! Hopefully I'll get an interview sooner or later...I've been told my application is still under review. 😕
