No reason to go into the field of anesthesia as a physician. That would be a huge disadvantage. CRNA’s now run most all surgery centers, outpatient offices, and if you want a job you must accept the fact that a crna will be your boss. Nobody tells you this in residency, but trust me its a done deal.. Worst field out there, trust me, done it for 15 years and its only getting worst...
