Also I was mentioned only in the last one just like SAR so maybe that worked correctly.

That or could be more proof that Sar Samac and myself are the same person tbhtbh

Oh man I will never be able to mod with polls, it is taking all my self control not to push buttons
Well, I suppose you could, it's public so everyone will just see that you have no self control

Or you could give yourself a "click here if you're a mod/tot/dead person and just want to be included" option

Y'all could include an "other/spectator/peepeepoopoo" option at the end for non-players to click.

I am, of course, a veteran of poll-based Mafia. I appreciate the effort to maintain the written tallies too so that we can see who voted for whom.

You can still see who voted for whom in the poll (just click the number of votes) but you can't see timing so that's why I think still having people declare their votes in-thread is good.

Plus since I decided to do this over halfway into the cycle it seemed like a bad idea to rely on it entirely 😂

Champs practice game, where it looks like I've never modded on this site before despite doing it for 10 years

Yeet PSV

I think it’s Wolfy that of ALL my wolf games PSV chose bowling, which is a game PSV knows full well isn’t a great representation of my wolf meta, as mechanics forced me to play in a way that was unique to that game and that game alone

Please provide me a game that is a better representation. Thanks in advance!

Alright. We finna got Zenge voting "early"!

I have thoughts about that PSV vote, but I want to give PSV herself a little time to respond before I blurt. I may blurt anyway since time is of the essence.

Why did I vote SAR, Zenge?
Your first votes are usually a mystery, but you don’t generally leave the vote until you witness things to make them villagey.

Implying you’ve seen things from SAR that you think are outside SARs wolf range. I’m just asking what specifically you’ve seen

Bowwling was a nasty, rude game, mechanically designed to be anti-wolf.

PSV knows this
Did that have any impact upon your initial posts in the game? Would you expect PSV to think of a game in which she wasn't your teammate before she thinks of a game in which she was your teammate?

Do you perceive SAR to be within her wolf range?

I don’t think I’ve ever played with wolf SAR?

But she’s a very wispy player. Like fog floating above a lake.

I trust AM’s ocular ability to see trees. 🌳

I don’t recall the initial posts.

The second question is psychological I can’t answer

I am bothered by Zenge's vote for PSV. I won't say everything in my head yet so she can respond unbiased, but I will say a little.

There's something off about this series of events:

-- Jay reviews recent Zenge town games and observes a trend
-- Jay notes that he hasn't included a wolf game and that it would be important to do so
-- PSV mentions a Zenge wolf game in which she was his wolfmate (without implying anything about his posts in the game)
-- Jay checks that game and finds vague evidence consistent with present Zenge suspicion
-- Zenge directs his ire at PSV for the game she chose and not at me for my interpretation of that game, and Zenge does not protest the basic premise of my previous post featuring his town games that looked different

I feel like that was the wrong answer. If Zenge is town he shouldn't be implicitly granting me the meta points I made about him, because (as others have suggested), my meta would be wrong. Instead, he griped about the game PSV chose. That game can only vaguely contribute to my suspicion of Zenge, and he reacted as though it needed to be nipped in the bud.

This is difficult to explain, so please let me know if I am not being clear. Essentially, this smells like a case of a wolf that believes he is being caught for the wrong reasons and wants to smear someone (PSV) for an off-hand comment that contributed to it. It's incongruent and awkward.

I have more reasons than this to doubt Zenge's vote for PSV. I will expand soon. Hopefully PSV can jump in first.

Honestly I can't recall a single other game where you were a wolf. I just remember that game especially well given everything. If someone asked me for a samac wolf game right now, that would be the first to come to mind as well.

And this is also true.

Get out of my head. I was trying to type something coherent about the same thing

Now I have to side eye that we're mind melded 😤

On the contrary, I actually don't find Zenge wolfy for the vote for me tbh. Seems more like something he does as town.

Thanks for jumping in, PSV. Well-timed.

I will expand immediately then: I don't think it's reasonable to demand that PSV remember some different wolf game first. Of course she is going to have a clearer and more immediate memory of a Zenge wolf game in which she was also a wolf. That's the availability heuristic. I also don't think it's realistic to suggest that, in that momentary interaction with me, PSV decided she was going to cherry pick some Zenge wolf game that'd "look bad" for him now. I doubt she'd even be able to come up with that on command.

To be a little doubtful is one thing, but to act like it's some immediate problem and drop a vote on PSV was too much for me.

Of the people with enough of a presence on thread to evaluate, I'm trying to decide if I feel worse about Zenge's thought process feeling opportunistic (but may just be that it's different to how I process, which I think happens not infrequently between me and zenge) or about Mayo popping in but not really contributing anything besides his usual **** posting

Is it Jay? Is it “all too much” for you?

Votes aren’t locked in.

This seems a little bit dramatic from you
