Is this process really slow or just not many people in this thread compared to the internship one?

Fewer people and postdocs have a much wider timeline as there is a mix of several matches and places that do not participate in matches.

Has anyone heard from the West Haven MIRECC? Their app deadline was 12/1. I am assuming interview invites were sent out.

I haven't heard from them yet either. One of the PI's did tell me that it appears to be a "very competitive" applicant pool this year. Judging by past years, it seems like they are a bit variable on timing. Though they may have been sent out already.
