Hello guys, I had a question. On one of my secondaries, it asks me to list my EC activities and list the hours/week. I have been a part of an organization since 2010, however, I have only participated in week long annual fundraisers. Although I have spent a total of 100 hours with the organization, when it is divided by the total number of weeks between the 2010 and now, it would come out to less than an hour per week.

Do I end up just putting "0.5 hours per week?"

My hours look a lot more watered down!

I had the same issue with some of my activities. There are 2 ways to look at this.

1. Put down 0.5 hours per week.

2. List separate dates that you were involved in the activity. Instead of 2010 to present, break it up into smaller segments.

If you explain the nature of the activity (the fact that it was one week a year), they should understand. All of my medical missions trips were a few weeks out of the year, and my hours would have been way watered down if I had not separated out the dates of the activities.
