Hello, I'm studying for the AL MPJE for reciprocity in Alabama. Just to clarify the 30hr biennial requirement. The regulations state that 15 hours are required per year. I know it sounds pretty implicit, however I just want to make sure. Are you required to obtain 15 hours within each calender year or do you just need 30 over two years?

The reason I ask, is that in FL, we need 30 every 2 years. So I can essentially get all my CE completed a couple of months before renewal. I'm assuming AL is trying to avoid this practice and make RPhs spread it out a bit.

MA does the same thing. Renew biennially, require CEs annually.

Alright, that's what I thought. Thanks!
