1. I was wondering since most schools require at least two LORs from science professors, does engineering professor count as one? I already have one from my PI in biomedical research who originally taught me in a pure science undergraduate research course, but the second one comes from my major in engineering. I'm not sure where to draw the fine line for whether a professor is considered a science professor or not?
2. One question for applicant to UCSF, when matching prerequisites the school requires "h. Social sciences, humanities, or foreign language (in addition to requirements "a" and "g")." of 11 semester units but was not present on AADSAS. Should I ignore this or possibly contact the university?
3. Some of my courses are matched with AP course but some universities do not accept them. Currently, I'm listing those courses on second semester of my senior year in case I get an offer from these few institutions. In that case, I would take it and be able to fulfill the prerequisites during application. Would you think this method would be frowned upon by the committee?
