Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

are the U of Louisville football and basketball teams a pretty huge deal in Louisville, or is the city bigger than that?

🙄 Well, I'm glad it didn't go too badly at least. But fill out the secondary. Seriously. One of my friends last year had nine waitlists after nine interviews. He finally got accepted at the tenth school. For real.

hello.... its louisville, kentucky..... the only thing there is a "school" and one kentucky fried chicken in the center of town where they all hang out.

Q, what is the consensus around SDN about not applying to a school strictly because it is too expensive... fair reason or the tuition should not really come in to play?

went to KFC a couple days ago and was thirsty... so I got their large drink. Their large is a half gallon TUB... complete insanity I say... but the "party" portion of popcorn chicken was money 👍

Depends. Does the school give scholarships and/or grants? If so, would you qualify? And, same question I asked Ana: would you suck it up and take out the loans if that were the only place you got accepted?

I am soooo tired. The week finally caught up to me. Plus, I went to a party last night and was out until 2, then got up early to go do a 5K AIDS run/walk this morning. And then we walked probably another 2K to go get lunch. Then I came home and just crashed on my futon. And then I woke up and here I am.

Whatever it takes to get her to fill out the d*** secondaries!!! :laugh: Seriously, Ana, I don't think you'll have trouble getting accepted either. But wait until after you do get accepted to start dropping schools.
