It's ok. I been having this bitch of a fever now for the last few days and all I can say is dehhhhhh. You're doing much better than me.

Sorry that you're sick - I hope you get better soon!

Everybody I know is sick and I have developed OCD about washing my hands because I have been so paranoid about getting it. So far, so good!

Dude, Andy, you are totally a dork and seem to not recall my instructions from yesterday morning. 🙄

Were you drunk at 9am?
um....what was this now?

At work today, my co-worker showed me how stupid she is. We got this electric letter opener shaped like a giant nexium capsule from one of the drug reps. It's the kind where you run the top of the envelope through and it shaves the top off. So, my co-worker picks this think up and runs a regular piece of paper through. And she says, "Is this supposed to be a shredder? 😕 " 🙄

don't avoid my question banana. i am curious as to know what these "instructions" were.

They were of the STFU variety.

Do you seriously not remember? Geez.
I really don't. But my brain has been acting all weird on me lately and I'm distracted with other matters nowadays.

Can you lift a 50 kg person? I can.

What do you mean by "lift"? Squat, deadlift, or bench? (I'm into powerlifting 🙂 )

squat - yes
deadlift - yes
bench - not quite

*runs* damn, she can probably kick my ass too.

Any means you like. How would you bench a person, though?

That's a very good question. 🙂 I suppose it would also be impossible to deadlift a person. Squatting may be possible, but balance would be tough.

i would pay $2.78 to see this.

my mom smacked me in public when i was a kid for saying dehhhhh in the grocery store.

Is that why you see parents beating their children in path histo pics?
This was for my own good. Momma taught me many lessons. Like that day in the grocery store. The grocery bagger didn't have the highest IQ you see. So when he asked, "paper or plastic" in his characteristic voice, I answered paper in a similar fashion. In a fit of rage, my mom smacked me up side the head. I started crying. The bagger laughed at me (and I deserved it). So in a fit of rage, I yelled back at him. When we got home, I got a good beating. From that day on, I learned that making fun of people was a bad bad thing.

I'm starting to like the fact that I have a fever. I'm starting to conjure up these interesting childhood memories. I need to write them all down before I get better and repress them again.

I thought you got a beating because you called your mum a bad name?

Maybe you got many beatings.

Stories like yours are why I am postponing motherhood.

I had always thought I wanted to postpone motherhood practically as late as possible because of similar stories, but now I have a little niece who is the best thing in my whole life. But, I figure to stay single at least until I settle into wherever I go for residency.

I just remembered that 38 Celsius was 100.4 Farenheit, and that is the medical definition of a fever according to many.

How much do you bench press beary?

95 pounds. I slave away at my bench but just can't make any progress. I am pretty happy with my leg and back strength but just am genetically or something lacking in upper body strength.

I think some of that is the difference between men and women - I have read that women can achieve the same leg strength as men but not upper body strength. For what I see in the weight room, this looks true - I can leg press as much as most guys (not the super lifter types). I have been working on my bench consistently for two years and still suck. Some guys that have never lifted before can bench more than me. 🙁

This is making me want to go lift. I have been ignoring it lately since I have been so busy, and my diet is terrible and I've gained a lot of fat weight (while losing muscle weight, I'm sure 🙂 )

Wow that is quite impressive beary, 95 pounds is quite a lot!!!!....When i used to do this stuff in medical college,i used to go 135 pounds maximum....now that was a long time ago!!!!.....
In spite of all that i did, i always had a thin constitution....believe it or not, in my medical college i used to be 135 pounds and bench press an equal amount (180 cms tall).....Some called it a wiry constitution.....i hated it no matter what!.....
Nowaday though i have a punching bag on which i go for about 20 minutes a day!!!!!!
I think punching a bag is the BEST!!!!.....You dont turn you muscle into flab as fast as it would happen if you only did weight training....20 minutes is all it takes and your constitution turns solid.......Of course i now weigh a respectable 160 pounds (Thanks to Doritos and Oreo s)....im a oreo cookie monster(That s what my gf calls me!!!).....i can eat like 15 of them at one go!!!!.......

That is very impressive that you could bench your whole body weight! I have never done the punching bag but it sounds cool. Also may be good to vent frustration. 🙂

Yeah, I was originally going for:

But I had a sneaking suspicion that people might complain to the mods and I might piss off a few people that I think are cool.
