I am still trying to understand the NCAA.

Say for instance if yaah wanted to join the Wolverines, would he be eligible? Or is there an age limit on these things? Does joining a university club automatically mean one is on track to play competitive college sports? Or do people ever "play for fun"?

Holy **** what a crap game. I was there, the last drive by Gophers was something to see. They had a third string quarterback in who could not complete a pass, and had third down on their own 30 or something and were trying to run out the clock to get to overtime. And the running play turned into a 60 yard gain when UM neglected to keep enough people deep to protect against someone getting through. I think coach Carr is toast.

Carr needs to go...I think we need to usher in a new era for Michigan football. I hate his conservative play calling and his "play not to lose" attitude. We need solid defense and fun and gun! We need to run up the score and embarrass opponents. We need to pass to open up the run and not the other way around. We need to score at least 60 points per game. No more nailbiters...I hate them. I can't wait until the day when the Wolverines play like the Trojans of today.

We need a coach that has connections with the south and west coast. I'm sick of us recruiting these no-named steak and potato eating motherf*ckers from Wisconsin and Michigan. We need ripped, strong athletes! We need prison convicts! Hell, even Ohio has better recruits which we can't touch since Tressel will be buying them cars and providing them with bling.

I am so sick of boxing. WTF is up with boxing? Lately I've been running everything out of my laptop/cable Internet combo - can't persuade myself to get a TV. They're heavyyyy, and they lead to more expense. Plus it's not like they're going to be showing live telecasts of the Flames games in this part of the world anyway 🙄

I tend to use the tv as background for a lot of things. Don't necessarily watch specific shows (except 24), but I like to flip around and see what isn't on tv.

OK so they showed yaah's most favorite movie today on AMC, the Karate Kid. I think it is a good movie...EXCEPT FOR THE VERY END! OK so Daniel-San does the crane kick thing thereby defeating his nemesis, Lawrence. They did such a good job of portraying Lawrence as a total prick. A kid with no mercy and willing to do anything to win. A kid who will always be a bully. Ok so after Daniel-San shoves his right foot up his face and wins the match, Lawrence grabs the trophy and awards it to Daniel-San and tells him, "You're all right."

What the f*ck is this? Some sissy Disney flick where everybody's all f*cking happy at the end of the movie and everyone hugs, kisses, and gets off in one big circle jerk?????

Man, I tell ya...I suggest an alternative ending. Lawrence takes the trophy and bashes Daniel-San over the head and says, "You lucky bitch! How you like 'dem apples?" Then Miyagi switches over into God-mode and kills Lawrence with a swift kick right between the eyes. Then the Cobra-Khan leader dude whips out a shotgun and says, "The 3rd A-bomb would've killed you Miyagi!" Miyagi reaches into his back pocket and flicks a shuriken star right into Cobra-Khan leader dude's right eye and he runs off like a little *****!

You know, I saw that was on last night. I only got a chance to see a few minutes - scene actually where Daniel San goes to the Dojo and he and Miyagi witness a training session and they agree not to beat up Daniel until tournament. (note - when I discuss Karate Kid I leave out word "the" because Miyagi does as well and it seems more appropriate to me to also leave it out).

But yes, I have always been bothered by end of movie when Mr Lawrence acts so magnanimous. In reality though, no one would have beaten Asian guy in tournament who does all those spin kicks etc.

Personally, I am most annoyed by beach scene in beginning when Elisabeth Shue makes batty eyes at Daniel San and he teaches her soccer ball trick. Whatever.

I am on a tremendous dry roasted peanut kick lately. I eat about 3 ounces a day of dry roasted peanuts. I probably won't continue on like this, but some people tell me peanuts are healthy, so perhaps I will.
