Whoa, I'm steering clear of the MCAT forum. I've been done with that for well over a year now. (And thankfully, I wasn't on SDN back in my MCAT days.)

I would just like to formally remind everyone (since some might not be familiar with the way these threads work) that, even though this is a Random (tm) thread, it is still in one of the professional forums and not the Lounge. Flagrant use of offensive language or images, namecalling, personal attacks, etc. will be handled just the same as they would in any other Pre-Allo thread.

If/when the thread reaches 10,000 posts, it will be locked due to the strain that super-big threads put on the server. A version 2.0 thread can be started.

Have no fear, in that specific thread all MCAT talk is frowned upon. Just check out the self-explanatory pop quiz for its first post.

Being in Ohio for 4 years for college, I've played Euchre a couple times. However, since everyone there refers to Euchre as "the game of the Midwest" when no one in Missouri plays it, I've developed a disdain toward the game and refuse to participate. I'm a pitch guy, through and through.

...don't know about Cribbage.

Yeah I learned Euchre from a friend who has family in Illinois. No one in Texas knows how to play, so I usually just play on yahoo. I like pitch as well.

Euchre! That's a great game. I haven't played it since high school, since nobody here knows it or has any desire to learn. Hearts is another good game too.

For another topic of conversation. It's currently 92 degrees with a heat index of 102 (down from an early 95 with heat index of 111). Any fun way of staying cool?

Never done the jello wrestling. I've gotten into mini pudding fights and mud fights, but that's the extent of it. I'd like to expand into jello wrestling; you could call it a dream of mine. :cool:

And an admirably ambitious dream it is. The extent of my food escapades is a one-time participation in Ramen Romp, which, naturally, is ramen noodle wrestling.
