Since I'm on the subject of singing, I'm going to a karaoke bar for this chick's b-day tomorrow night. I was thinking of singing that song that starts with, "I wanna lick you up and down, till you say stop." What's the name of that song?

I think that one's called "Sweet Caroline"--the only karaoke song that matters.

I don't get this. 🙄 😉

Post away Sev! 🙂

That I will. I'm here at work, and really, because I've been gone for a week, there's not that much for me to do. I'm just sitting around ingesting far too much coffee. 🙄

I will go on the record as saying that I simply loved NYC. I had my first trip up there last week and it was awesome.

Oh... and how are the babies?😀

Babies are doing great. Finally have them sleeping through the night, which is a huge help. Granted we are still up till midnight-ish and get up at about 6, but at least it is 6 straight hours of sleep and not broken naps.

Glad your trip went well. I had a good trip to Philly this weekend (cold, but good). I also am at work. Trying to closely monitor for any shred of information on here or my gmail inbox that will provide a clue as to my application progess. Things are slowing down at work with holiday parties and all, so its harder to keep my mind off of med school.

So what should I see? I'm going to be there next week for the first time ever. Very excited.

Here's one.

hey! Thats Awesome!!! I keep trying to load it though and it says "invalid file". I made sure it was below the 150x150 limit and everything. No idea why it won't work.

OHHH!! Are you staying with a student host? Mine were really great about taking me out to see all the touristy things. I wanted to see the Christmas tree and Rockefeller center, Times Square, the Empire State Building, etc. I also got to see Korean town (dinner was GREAT!!!). I also really enjoyed Madison Square Garden, Grand Central Station, and the Macy's on 34th Street.

Christmas is a great time to be in NYC, I think. Ohhhhhhh... you might also want to check out the lights show on the side of the Saks building. I think there is a showing every half hour... it's pretty darn cool!

Someone sounds like they had a great time in NYC. I wonder if the light show is the same one they were showing on tv the other day.

I always have loved and still do love looking at Christmas lights.

There is also a very cool light installation in Union Square right now--at the north end by the outdoor restaurant Luna Park. They are projected onto the sidewalk and have motion sensors that do fun things as you walk through.

Glad you had fun!

How do you get a christmas hat?

Ok, I know this sounds ******ed, but I don't think my iMac at work has Paint.. or any other photo editing software for that matter. This IS the federal government, I don't suppose I should be doing much photo editing here, unless of course its adding bands to my Westerns. 😀

I guess I should probably go run a gel or something, but I really want a santa hat too!!! Plus I'm leaving for my UCSF interview tomorrow morning and I am waaaaaay too excited to use my brain.. 🙂

I've got to study tonight, but I usually need a break after work. I'll see if I can't make you two hats when I get home.

MirrorTodd, i assume you're doing your own unless I hear otherwise.

Depakote:

I know you're studying, but when you take a SDN break, could you hook up my baby boy Jake with a hat?

Thanks!!!

Would you please make a hat for my avatar? 🙂

Just FYI. I have a final tonight so I pobably won't be doing any more today. I'll get to other requests (as long as they're reasonable in number and I'm not totally bogged down with my other final) tomorrow.
