I realize that at the end of the day i have to go with my gut feeling but wanted to poll the audience and see what the general consensus is on these prog:

1. St. Luke's--NY
2. Winthrop--NY
3. Maimonides--NY
4. SUNY--Stonybrook
5. SUNY---Brooklyn

Please provide a basis for ure ranking.....thanks in advance for ure help guys.

Really based on very little, and in case no one else responds...I hate when no one else responds so I'll give you what people from MN think of these programs (grew up in MD, know some people who went to school in NY for what it's worth)

1. SUNY--Stonybrook
2. SUNY---Brooklyn

Can't help you in terms of ranking the medicine programs, but I know someone who goes to Maimonides for anesthesia and likes it. It's a very busy city hospital with clinically-oriented programs. If it's for IM, you might have a lot of poor people and folks who don't speak a lot of English, which could make placement and dispositions/discharges challenging, among other things (I don't know, but I'm assuming).
