ranking places w/o interview?

Is anyone putting places on their rank list that they didn't interview at? I'm not, I'm just curious if anyone does this. I'm guessing it isn't real successful, but just wondering.

no. i guess you could rank them if you want but there is no way you will be on their list - so futile.

It doesnt work that way. Those programs will not rank you. You don't even have a file with them. Its pointless.

This i believe is a good idea and have changed my ROL last minute to only places that I have not interviewed at.

I ranked UCSF prelim surgery without an interview.

But after I applied they emailed me and told me they don't conduct interviews.

It's my last resort prelim because I have friends I can probably live with in SF.
