Just turned the debate on out of morbid curiosity... I think you're right...Definitely better... much better. Watching paint dry would also be better. So would shoving needles into your eyes....
tremendous.
My face this whole debate: 😵
Three statuses in a row on my facebook feed about how "Of course this country needs more law and order... SVU that is. Ten more seasons in fact!"![]()
A favorite quote:
"A very against police judge"
Samesies. Time better well spent!Don't torture yourself... I am watching a movie.
The decision to go see the magnificent 7 instead of watching the debate was a good one I think
Metabolic cases are expensive, confusing to owners, and usually involve oodles of long term monitoring and general PITA.
The key here is that long term monitoring is not really going to be in jmo's vocabulary for those animals. 😉
stabilize it, and transfer as soon as it's no longer interesting 😉The key here is that long term monitoring is not really going to be in jmo's vocabulary for those animals. 😉
Yessss thank goodness! And I try very hard to refer my clients back to their veterinarians for management and follow up, so that they too can be a part of the care (and also earn business to keep their practices up - it was drilled into us to refer back if possible/wanted at my internship)That is why god invented RDVMs. To send us interesting cases and take them back again when they require long term management.
Happy thoughts your way! We have heart problems in the family here, so 😍 andHad my first ER experience for chest pain. Everyone seems convinced it's muscle related because it began like a half hour working out, and it totally could be, but I've been working out fairly routinely/lifting for years and never had solely left sided chest pain that got worse with breathing in/bending over but not arm movement. Ecg supposedly showed changes suspicious for a RBBB and a possible rub/quiet murmur. They're also all super worried about my K+ of 3.2, which I'm fairly certain is due to the degree of sweating I did prior and didn't get a chance to correct with food and fluids yet. Supposed to follow up with my PCP tomorrow and maybe an echo so hopefully work will let me do that since I'm supposed to be in at 7am.

I had something exercise related that they originally thought was a heart problem happen in high school. Hopefully they see something just as benign with you.No one seems super concerned and I keep getting the vibe that they think it's all muscle related since I worked out which I supposeis possible and is making me feel like they think im crazy. However, I'm a super active person and have never had this issue before. Or if I did, it was very very fleeting. This was still happening when I went to bed at 8 am. It's gone today bit I've had very fleet discomfort for lack of a better word on occasion today. Echo scheduled for the 24th.
We have one of those!but this one girl constantly interrupts the professors during class to ask questions, and she answers questions before anyone else has a chance to. I can tell it's even getting on our professors' nerves because she's always interrupting and trying to argue things, and most of her questions are hypothetical/not really relevant to what we're going over. I guess she's just really into learning the material, but she needs to tone it down several notches.
So we're not the only ones with seat issues?I got pulled out of class yesterday to talk to admins about an issue that my class is having with seats. It was only a review for our anatomy exam, so I guess it's not a huge deal, but I would have liked to go - and when the other class rep and I sent out a survey to try and get a handle on what is going on/how we're going to tackle it, most of them came back with nasty comments directed at me in particular. I don't really care about that, but a lot of what people were saying about me was just not true. I understand people are stressed out, but sometimes, it's really frustrating when we're just trying to do our jobs well and get by academically.
I keep telling myself that this is great practice for the rest of my career, since I want to go into academia so will certainly have to deal with issues like this again.
Yeah, basically, people establishing their seats (or thinking they have established them) and then other people taking those seats and causing grumpiness. What do you guys mean when you say seat problems? I'm curious. People wanting the same spot and aren't able to?
We have one of those!
We have assigned seats here (we picked over orientation), and that has pros and cons but it's definitely prevented seat disputes, which is good.Yeah, basically, people establishing their seats (or thinking they have established them) and then other people taking those seats and causing grumpiness.

@orca2011 ... are you feeling better? -.-Me: I need to change my automatic payment bank account.
Student Loans: It takes 10 days. You should manually pay it this month.
Me: Okay. *pays it*
Student Loans: J/k, thanks for the extra payment! *takes out my manual payment and my automatic payment*
Me:...I needed that extra $315....
Yup. Cause if it scared you, it must have been a Pibble, right? When people don't get that breeds listed in dog bite statistics can be wildly inaccurate because visual breed identification isn't worth ****![]()
Makes me so mad.Yup. Cause if it scared you, it must have been a Pibble, right?
I had a lady tell me how terrified she was of pit bulls because she was bit twice as a child. When she descibed the dogs, one was likely a chihuahua and the other a northern breed like a husky. She said, "oh. Well I knew your dog was a pit because he was brindle."🙄 My dog was a mastiff mix. I then explained that everything from Chihuahuas to Corgies to Great Danes can come in brindle.
Her take away was apparently that she can recognize a pit by whether or not it is aggressive. So she'll just be terrified of all dogs (except her golden that she had running loose getting in everyone's face and stealing food from little kids at the playground).🙄😡
Makes me so mad.
I was looking over a couple studies that did surveys for visual breed identification and compared their results to DNA tests on the dogs in question. So many dogs were identified as one of the pit bull breeds and didn't have any of those breeds in their DNA tests - especially mixes with boxer or mastiff. And several that did have a pit bull breed (even as much as 25%) and weren't visually identified as such. And these were surveys of professionals and people in animal-related fields, so just imagine how accurate the general public is.
I've been doing a lot of research on dog bites and breed specific legislation today. It has given me the angers![]()
Brink of having to drop out. Will be a ****ing miracle if I can hold on. Thank you life for saving up to shaft me right when school started.
So sorry v2vm 🙁. Have you contacted your professors and associate dean and told them what is going on? I'm sure they could work with you or give you options.Brink of having to drop out. Will be a ****ing miracle if I can hold on. Thank you life for saving up to shaft me right when school started.
