No...but there is a girl in my class who normally tears through exams, and this one took her forever. I usually finish pretty quickly, but I always get scared if I'm close to done and she's still working on it...that was all. Now all I want to do is go to bed...

And who would have thought that watching an optho resident do a refraction would not actually be all that exciting.

Still up, but I at least had time to cook up some dinner for the next week. I like having it done where all I have to do is warm it up when I want it.
 
Tired like I am exhausted, but not sure I will sleep. Then again, with one eyelid half open, it makes me feel tired (because I can't really see), but can't fall asleep even with my eyes shut.
 
You never think anything is wrong with you until you have to give someone a list of your meds. Then you realize what has even happened over the past few years that added all the meds in.
 
Still up. Maybe I should take my own personal 'snow day' tomorrow. (I have done this before when there was no snow...just too cold and too burned out)
 
But I have now finished writing a personal statement for a scholarship application. And I got lots of other stuff done today, so I can't say it was a total failure. Just no books were involved after I got out of class.
 
i just woke up after sleeping for 15 hours! I feel fantastic... no i need to go scurry for food!!

our school and my advisor "strongly reccomended" that I not do more than three months of EM/EM related stuff... but now that i know how much i want to do EM, i'm really not in the mood to do non-EM stuff; being in the department spoiled me for everything else!!!

I am taking a personal snow day now.
 
Everyone else in the city is cancelled, including the other med schools, so why wouldn't I? (Even though I just walk to class, but the whole walking in snow and ice thing isn't too smart for me right now.)
 
Plus I can't sit in those chairs for more than an hour. I am forced to go all day Friday, which should be quite interesting. No I'm not going to the bathroom and yes, I am getting up and walking out of here without a reason.
 
Go talk to _______ and they will tell you it's okay too.

about a month I guess! not SOO long I guess, but considering how frantically I was checking my email a few months ago, this is a bizarre occurence now 🙂
