Can anyone else confirm henderson is full? Cause the facebook group only has about 50 people. Also does anyone know if all the interview dates are done or are there more???

I am new to salt lake city, utah and looking for a good area for living and close to Roseman campus. Any recommendation?

Not everyone has a Facebook account though.

Yes I think the college is done with interviews. Someone posted on the forum and said the last interview date was April 3rd.

As of 4/3 Dr. Deyoung confirmed Henderson is full.

Did anyone get their enrollment package yet?

I emailed Dr. DeYoung this morning and he replied that there are some fine details the University administration still has to approve. He is hoping to email us the packet by Friday.

Has anyone from 03/7 interview ( Utah campus) got a call from Dr. Deyoung yet? It has been a month already but I havent heard anything from the school yet.... Im getting worried now 😕

Unfortunately, I don't think there are any more interview dates. Your fiancé could either email or call the college to verify.

There is always the option to defer your offer of admission. For more info, www.roseman.edu/node/141

I think at this point those of us who have not heard back will most likely be wait listed or denied late April or later.

Hi all, I have 2 qs

1) Dr Deyoung told me that he will know my admission status at the end of this month. What is the difference between people who placed on waiting list already and I? Does this mean that I might get accepted to Utah as Nevada is full now or I might get denied?

2) Which have higher chance of getting into the Nevada campus at this point ? > Those who have chosen only the Nevada campus on their applications, or those who have chosen both campuses on their applications ?

this is what i know from last year, dont hold it against me:
2- if you chosen both campuses, your chance of getting accepted will be greater. Nevada campus is the priority site, so it will be filled faster than Utah. The candidates who r got accepted will givien the campus that closed to their home and also depend on availabilities.

1- It will depend on your date of interview. At the end of april it is usually still in the acceptance period. From may to aug, the waitlist will be out and ranked based on point system. The people on waiting list r usually chosen for both campuses but they preferred Nevada so they declined Utah. There wil be alot of hope that you get accepted. Anything could happen until Aug 1st. Good luck!

Dr. Deyoung called me last week and offered me admission to the Utah campus and said I can remain on a waitlist for the Henderson campus.

I'm from SoCal so Nevada is preferable but I was wondering if anyone can give me any insight of South Jordan, UT itself? Such as the weather, housing, cost of living, etc.

Good luck to everyone else who is waiting for a response! 🙂

Did he say how many ppl ahead for the waitlist in Henderson?

Just a few things
Even if you only selected NV if your score is high enough they will call and ask if you want a seat or be WL for NV. If you care WL you can choose 1 or both campuses.

If you move to UT you can live anywhere from SL to South Jordan. Freeways are awesome. Everything is about 15- 30 mins. Even Downtown. Some areas are better to live in then others. Some are more student friendly.

Weather here is good. Summers can get up over 100 but usually high 90s. Winters are cold but not unbearable. There is plenty to do. But not to much that you still study.

what do u mean by depending on the interview date pls?

I dont want to scare u...after each interview, the a couple of most highest point candidates will be called back, therefore the availabilties will get smaller. There were 12 total interviews this year (5 in Utah and 7 in Nevada). I got interview back in Nov, and on the orientation, Dr.Deyoung specificly said 78% of the candidates on the first interviews usually got accepted. I waited for a long time, and finally got accepted for Utah campus and waitlist for Nevada. He said the Nevada is fulled, but anything can change. on the other hand, Utah is still open.

Congrats to all those who recently got accepted! I have to tell ya.. It is quite nerve-racking just waiting to see what the outcome of your status is. I interviewed in mid march and was told i would hear back by the end of april. I only opted for the henderson campus but i was wondering if i could still be chosen for the utah campus? Anyone with insight on this please let me know! Thanks!

Like others have said if you only choose Nevada then you will be wait listed for Nevada since it is currently full. You probably will not be offered Utah because they will believe you would reject that offer.

I would just talk to Mdeyoung asap. He will probably put your name in the running for Utah
And might give you an acceptance since it isn't full. Don't give up. Just because you only
Marked Henderson in the past doesn't mean they can't still consider you for Utah.

This might be a little early, but has anyone heard back from April 2nd interview? Just wondering

It doesn't seem like the Roseman white coat has a "Roseman University" embroidery. Can someone confirm this?

Hi does anyone know what's their waitlist number??

If it was full , why would they continue interviewing us April 2nd?. It was about 50 of us being interview on that date.

Because there's south Jordan..

Unless things change for your class, it will be a plain white coat. However, Student Alliance typically offers one with embroidery that can be purchased. I, personally, think it's worth buying the embroidered one because the fit & drape of it is better. Also, it's nice to have the school name on it as well.

hey guys i just got an acceptance call from Dr. Deyoung today for Utah campus ( since Nevada is full rite now). I was interviewed on 03/07 (Utah). I'm so happy right now!

Best of luck to those still waiting for the call! 😍 :luck:

I hope everybody who is posting here and is excited about Roseman (or any pharmacy school for that matter) have done your homework doing a bit of research about pharmacy and the future of pharmacy and the fact that with a school like roseman you will finish it with 200,000$ debt. Just wanted to mention this hoping everybody is being practical and realistic about choosing this school for education and pharmacy for profession.

Wow I didn't know it would be 200K. What pharmacy school did you go to and would you say that you
have regrets. Was your post a warning not to go into pharmacy? Maybe you can elaborate more on your own personal experience.

Yes, Mom 🙄

200K... if you decide to max out all the loans. Also, it's in the ballpark of an average pharmacy education. The sweet thing about Roseman is the 3 year plan compared to the traditional 4 year. While other pharmacy students are adding on their student debt for the fourth year of school, Roseman grads will be making a year's worth of salary. That was a deal breaker for me. Also, I know the job market is saturated in many areas, but if you get a PharmD, pass the NAPLEX, and fail to get a job.... That's on you, not Roseman.
