To those who received late March interview dates: Is March 26 the last interview date?

I want to get a sense of when the admissions will be filling up all the seats.
 
Interviewed March 7, got the call today! Anyone else going to the Utah campus with kids?
 
I will be going to the April 2 interview..kinda late, but it's better than nothing...
 
Do you guys know when they will send the enrollment packet?
 
I know that from the school that you have to get 90% on assessment to pass? How difficult is it to pass though? I'm kind of scare off by that. :/
 
yeah, It would be horrible to finally get into pharmacy school only to be kicked out. 🙁

I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as you're on top of things, it's completely attainable. During the student tour, the tour guide mentioned that everyone takes the individual assessment which is a pass at 90%. Then we take the same exam as a group. If the group exam is higher than 95%, then you only need 85% on your individual assessment to pass. If you fail on Friday (test day), you get reassessed the following Monday. If you fail the reassessment, then you have summer school. The information packet mentioned that only 2% had to withdraw for academic reasons since 2003.

Exactly what LordChud said. Also, many of the students are more than happy to help you if you are having trouble with material. In addition, after class the professors walk around the classroom during test week to see if any students have questions. Many people are at your side willing to help you understand things. The only thing to have to maybe worry about is finding time to study the amount of material on each assessment. If you study effectively & efficiently, you'll be fine.
 
Got accepted from the 02/12 interview and got called 02/25.

Hello everyone! Congrats to those who have received an acceptance so far! I was wondering if anyone from the 3/12 interview hear anything back from Roseman yet? or am I being an eager beaver? lol:scared:
 
It seems like everyone who has been accepted thus far is getting calls 2 weeks after their interview. Can those of you that have been accepted confirm this?

I interview 2/26 and received the call 3/12.. so 2 weeks

Thanks for confirming 🙂. I interview on March 12th, I feel like the interview was extremely laid back which makes me really nervous. I guess all I can do now is wait 😕

I actually felt the same way even though it was my second interview. They tried to lighten the atmosphere so you're not too nervous which is what I like about it. Try to relax and good luck!

I was called back 4 days after the interview and I know of at least five other people getting called back a month later. These were all people from the first or second interview of the year. I think now that they have a better idea of the point total that will get you accepted they're accepting people with less wait time.

Thanks for responding! Your stats must have been outstanding to get a call back 4 days after your interview. Do you mind if I ask what your stats are?
 
I received my acceptance call after 5 days from the interview date , so ppl dont get calls until 2 weeks , so hang on there, dont give your hope up

I have a good GPA and a so-so PCAT. I honestly thought I screwed up my interview on a couple of questions and was really mad at myself, so hearing back so fast was a shock. The interview went well overall and we just talked and joked around. Maybe even though I could have had stronger answers they felt comfortable talking with me and thought I had the interpersonal skills. Dunno...

Stats:
Cumulative GPA - 3.92
Prerequisite GPA - 4.0
PCAT - 64%
Utah resident
No bachelors
Decent extra curriculars
Little pharmacy experience
 
I also interviewed on 3/12. I was hoping to have gotten a call back already. The waiting is the worst part. I felt my interview went ok however, everyone there was so positive throughout the whole process it is hard to gauge how the interview actually went. Good luck to all of those that interviewed the same day I did. Hopefully we get our calls back soon.!:bang::bang:
 
I interviewed on 3/12 and to be quite honest I feel my interview may not have gone that well. I'm running the answers to the questions and I feel my responses weren't that great. I'd answer them differently if I had the interview today lol. I was just extremely nervous. I wasn't nervous going in... but once I sat down in front of them the nerves took over! I looked like 😕! I hope I did well enough that I'll get in. Well.. it's done, there's nothing more that can be done.. so now I just have to sit and wait. Good luck everyone and I hope that we'll all be classmates-- Class of 2016 Roseman COP!

Help! ... I have been accepted to one school (choice 2) and wait listed at another (choice 1). The one where I'm wait listed I won't find out if I'm in until after I have to decide if I want to commit to the other school. Does anyone know what would happen if I were to accept and pay the deposit and one school but then find out I'm accepted at the other school I was wait listed on. Can I withdraw my acceptance and accept the other school?

Well, you're not breaking any laws, so go for it. Don't expect your deposit back, but if it's what you have to do then it is what it is.

Once you pay the dep the school is holding a seat for you but you can chose not to take the seat up to the first day of school. You will forfeit your deposit since the school was unable to offer that seat to another student.

Students declining seats happens up till the first day of classes. That is why if you are on the wait list you have the chance of getting in. Someone this year got called the Friday before classes started. Orientation had already started on Wed.
 
Just got accepted to the Henderson campus today!!!! 😀 Hope to meet some of my classmates soon! Class of 2016!!!!!!!!!

Don't be discouraged. I had to call Dr. DeYoung because I had another offer at another school that wanted my non-refundable deposit by this Friday. He said that he was making calls later this week however in my case he let me know because of my circumstance. I didn't want to lose $1000.00 and Roseman was my first choice. It seems as if there are still plenty of spots left, he gave me my choice of either campus. It is still possible for you to get a call very soon. I wouldn't of heard yet if I hadn't had to call him.

No pharm experience but phenomenal interview!

My stats are average, nothing outstanding, I think that my interview helped me a lot. Good Luck, I hope to meet you on campus.

I think your stats are great! Pharmacy experience isn't required to get in, so your stats look great. Congratulations getting in!! I hope to get a phone call soon.
 
I just got a call from Dr. DeYoung today, this girl has been accepted to the Henderson campus!! I'm so excited and can't wait to meet my some of my fellow classmates. :soexcited::soexcited:

Try searching for roseman 2016 that may work otherwise you may need to pm or post your email to get the invite
