When you get offered an interview is it in your portal or do you get an email?

I also got a phone call saying I was being offered an interview, had an email for portal update, then a couple hours later got an email with a link to schedule
 
Got an interview invite via phone call this morning, around 9:15am! Just got the portal update email but still waiting for the email regarding scheduling.
 
Does anyone suggest emailing their Ross advisor if they haven’t heard any update yet? Or just continue to check their email/ portal?
 
Those of you that have received offers, about how long after your interview did you hear?
 
Does anyone know if the fall 2025 start term is full or almost full? I applied to Ross late August and basically have heard nothing for 6 months

No idea. It's rolling and they told me that I had until April 15th to let them know my decision for FA25, however, they said it might already be full by the time I accept so I might have to defer to SP or SU start. I would think that Feb/March is when the class will start to fill up as people would have heard back from majority of other schools by that point.

I figured it would be full. Its not a big deal either since I already got accepted to SGU for Fall 2025. If it does end up being full, I'll just rescind my application
 
I am not sure if they are ever really full. Especially since there have been semesters that students didn’t have a seat & sat on the floor.

Yeah I'm a bit confused about hearing that they're possibly full because my interview is this Thursday. So is there a point to interview if they're full? Or would they just accept me for January 2026 instead?
 
The students I know attended were accepted for the semester they wanted. They did tell some of them they could start sooner too. At the end of the day it’s about getting numbers up so they can show that to shareholders which is why their parent company’s share price has taken off & shareholders had a 214% return in the last 3 years. I just don’t understand why they can’t reinvest a small portion of that back into the campus. They invest in their US campuses.

Did you end up leaving Ross or finishing out?

I have relation & friends that attended. Some are finishing up there & others are finishing up back in the states. One of the individuals finishing back in the states really liked it there but had issues with getting timely responses back from one professor. So when they say the professors are great that may be true for 99% of them but the 1% may be the one that gets you. The school has potential to be something really unique with only a small reinvestment from the parent company Adtalem. AVMA has a site visit in March for accreditation evaluation and that will be interesting how that goes.
 
I emailed Ross earlier this week about why I haven’t heard anything from them. They basically told me I’m going to have to wait longer but should be hearing from my admissions person “ in the next week or so”

Update just got an interview invite. That was crazy fast because I just uploaded my transcripts 10 minutes before
 
i applied in september and then i got an email saying i never finished my application. then i emailed them asking if my application was incomplete and they said they sent that by mistake and scheduled my interview within the week. interviewed 11/19/24 and got my acceptance letter 12/11/24! i would just email them if you haven’t heard back 🙂

If you don’t hear. EMAIL EMAIL EMAIL!!!!! They lose things all the time and are horrible communicators legit every current student says it lol. I applied last years cycle for fall and hadn’t heard a PEEP until like February/March (they had filled the fall class already and told me I could do January instead) it was so strange but I only heard from them because I emailed and called asking if they were still reviewing applications. I heard within hours about an interview and then was accepted but it was SO WEIRD it was as if they forgot about my application and I reminded them of it.

Same. I kept getting emails they didn’t get my stuff so I resubmitted. Then nothing and my portal was gone. I emailed them a couple weeks ago and they “reopened my application “and then asked for a few more things. And now still no updates.
 
Apparently they just now looked at my transcripts, I got an email and a phone call this morning saying that I’m missing a prerequisite 🙃 I’m sure that one of my classes fills the requirement and I’ll just have to point it out to them, but I’m kind of surprised that they actually did nothing at all with my application until now

They told me on 3 separate occasions that I had to complete physics 2 and I had sent my transcripts from completing physics 2 literally 5 times until someone finally saw it and checked it off after I called and explained it on the phone. They are very disorganized sometimes don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself if you think what they’re telling you is incorrect!!
 
I got an email from them right before the VMCAS deadline closed that I hadn’t submitted my app yet when I had as a reminder so I emailed them and they told me they had it and knew I submitted but then suddenly I was being sent the docusign 🤔
 
Yeah, same thing with the docusign happened to me but after the VMCAS deadline had passed—nothing like a good old-fashioned heart attack to get the cycle started, right?
I don’t think it’s totally unfounded. They said my biology II class is missing a lab, which is true. I thought I would have noticed if the prerequisite section on their VMCAS had said both bios needed a lab and would have put a zoology class in that slot instead that did come with a lab, but we’ll see what they say about whether that counts.
I’m just baffled by how some folks already have acceptances and they’ve just now noticed what classes I took.

Oh no. They didn’t have that listed in the VMCA as a prerequisite. I have not taken it.

Maybe it was physics 1 then? Not sure but I know it was a physics course. If it wasn’t on vmcas then don’t worry about it!
 
Has anyone else not received any updates on their application's status? I applied in August but my portal still says "Under Review" in the Complete Your Interview Section. I emailed my advisor last week and admissions this week but haven't received a response from either. I'm starting to get nervous as the month is ending, but I'm not sure what else I can do.

I got an email a couple of weeks ago for an interview, their process just seems to go slower than some other schools.
 
I had my interview 01/16 and it said in the virtual waiting room to hear back in 6 weeks, but the interviewer told me she'd reach out in 2 weeks and gave me her (work?) phone number incase I had any questions.....Is that a good sign?
 
I have an interview in a few weeks.
Is your advisor that's on your portal the one who interviews you?

Good luck you guys! The interview was abt a hour long and it was mainly about my application, what I found difficult about college and how I managed to get over it, and then why I’d want to be part of the school! Pretty generic squestions!

I was going to pick the 13th. But decided on the 19th instead. I am always second guessing myself, even when it comes to picking interview dates!!! This process has my head spinning.
 
Accepted to Ross!!!! I’m so excited. Also a little stressed because if I do end up deciding to go to Ross, I have and a dog and [emoji[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]]] cats. I refuse to go anywhere without them, does anyone have any experience with flying with pets?

I would also like to know the answer to this - I have a dog and the only thing that is making ross a debate is that process because from what I have seen online it is EXTENSIVE - more so if it is every time the animals come and go from the island which is what I would assume

It’s usually every time they come and go from another country the process applies. I’ve heard suggestions of not bringing animals to island because of how difficult it is. Or if you can get them there not move them off island until you leave and find pet sitting for them while you’re gone.
 
Im still awaiting an application status update after submitting my application in August. Has anyone with this same issue called admissions or recommend calling? I emailed admissions and my advisor last week but didn't receive responses.

If it’s been more than a full business day since you emailed, I don’t see a problem with calling.
