I have interviewed several alumni and they have had nothing but postive things to say about the program and their experiences.
I did the same thing, after not getting into any stateside schools I applied to Ross in late February. Originally I was applying for Sept. but the school has told me May is still open and if accepted I can start in May.
I am interviewing monday.
For current RUSVM student's, how was the transition from the states to St. Kitts? Would living on campus be better than off campus for the first year? Which airline would be recommended (American Airlines and Delta are the only ones I know of at the moment)? I know there are airlines w/ transfers (either in US or in Puerto Rico), but which option is less expensive?
How long did it take for your file to be complete? And how long did it take them to contact you for an interview? I'm still waiting on one LOR to be received...it's been 2 wks.
I know I am trying to get ready even though I am still not accepted.
It took over a month for my file to be complete because of my LOR's
not sending it in right away. Once my status on their tracking page said "interview stage" then I was contacted 4 days later to set up an interview.
They would not have granted me an interview so soon if I had not said I was willing to start in May.
So are you applying for September? I have had to get people to watch my dogs at the last minute. Which is very stressful for me because I don't like asking for help. I am going to have them down there with me but due to having to get 2 rabies titers, the 2nd one won't be ready in time.
Yea I'm applying for September. Also where is your interview going to be held?
@anjabryn- How'd your interview go?? What'd they ask you?
Aaaahhh, I don't know how it went. I feel it went okay but I don't know if I went into enough detail.
It lasted about an hour...
Everything is up in the air right now but I feel excited!
Keeping my fingers crossed for ya!
And thanks for all the insight!!That is all I can think of right now, they said if I don't hear from them in 1 week then I MAY be considered for September.

I feel like I am in elementary school. People manage to fail these test and I really think I would have to not study and take the test drunk to even get an F.
Good Luck! I will be down there in Sept. I was accepted into the Vet Prep program, but I am really hoping after they get my transcript from this semester they will put me into the vet class! I currently have an A in O Chem and with only 2 1/2 weeks left it should stay that way! I also have an "A" in bio 2...CSU didn't require I take it. Let just say the lowest grade I have gotten this semester is a 99%.I feel like I am in elementary school. People manage to fail these test and I really think I would have to not study and take the test drunk to even get an F.

I wish I didn't have to be in St. Kitts an extra 3 months, but its worth it to be a vet.👍 My undergrad GPA is not example of my true intelligence or ability as a student, but I do understand the admissions committee's concerns as its REALLY BAD! 😉
Congrats on the acceptance! Do you know who the VetPrep program is recommended/required for?

Hi!!
Did any of you interview for Ross in Miami?!
Thank you!
Yes, I did. 🙂
How did it go?!?! Hope it went well!
My interviewer is Jon Bolaski.
Did he also interview you? I'm really nervious!
Thank you!

Jmo1012 Thank you 🙂 Id give you a hug if I could. This is just freaking frustrating. Hardest thing for me is getting past the $ factor, not for the application for the out-state (country) tuition. Id like to do rural vet med and shelter medicine so I dont foresee myself recouping my investment fast unless I can get into one of the programs that helps with loan repayment. The other factor is relocating seriously I drive myself nuts with this stuff. Regardless thank you I really should call someone and get their perspective and push send on my apps!
Hi,
I was wondering how long it took you guys to hear back after an interview... on wed it will be 4 weeks since my interview and I'm getting a little anxious. I hate playing the waiting game lol!

I interviewed with Dr. Bolaski as well at the Miami office. He really was awesome. Basically asked why do you want to be a veterinarian and why do you want to go to Ross. He was interested in how you would do living in st kitts. Overall, it was my favorite interview. All the other questions were just specific to me and wasn't trying to ask you someting just to trip you up. Basically, felt like I was having an hour long conversation with a friend. Really have no reason to be nervous for this interview.
Mine was 5 weeks exactly.. The person who interviewed me sent me an e-mail stating that the adcom had made their decision and to congratulate me of my acceptance, the following day I got an e-mail from the asst director of admin, and the next day I got my welcome packet which was fedex expressed! Don't worry, you'll hear from them within a couple days! Good luck!![]()
To those of you who have paid your deposit already, did you hear anything from them after you did?
I paid my deposit a few days after my letter and haven't heard anything at all.

I put in $500, will put in another $500 before May 1. I have a lot of e-mails coming from Isha Webster, such as the area code and cell phone number and all that.
ImNotThatGirl, you're lucky! Beats waiting for 5-6 weeks! I'll see you in September!!![]()
