I think pharmacy schools do count your prerequsites only to calculate their GPA. Overall science GPA and Overall GPA are a small percentage in the admission factor. But taking those classes and have good grades in them show pharmacy school that you are fully prepared and ready for the load of work in Pharmacy school.

As far as PharmCas is concerned, if it's labeled a science class it counts towards your Science GPA. That includes, Biological, Chemical, and physical sciences. It doesn't even have to have a lab to be included. Some schools (I'd say most, but I'm not that familiar with the process) recalculate your GPA based on their prereqs.
