Day One

The scene was gruesome. A double homicide, two retirees, no kids. From the outside it looked like a standard breaking and entering gone wrong, nothing too crazy.

"Why were we called in?" asked one agent, examining the patterns of dust on the top of a dresser with a trained eye.

"Massive overkill," said another agent, his expression grim. "The victims were suffocated and then dismembered. Based on the amount of blood, there was a third victim, but the body is gone. From the looks of it, the remains were fed to the cats."

"So what are we looking at here? White male, 20s to 40s?"

"That would fit the witness description. And they also said they saw him jump several fences with ease. This guy is in excellent shape."

Having connections in the BAU was useful. The rest of the news outlets only had information about the victims, but one intrepid reporter had managed to snag a bit of the profile. Of course, you had to be careful in this business not to show too much of your hand. Couldn't have your contacts getting uncomfortable. But a little tease was enough to bring in the readers.

It wasn't long before the BAU nabbed a suspect that fit the unsub profile. But would the killings stop with this arrest?

Samac sent me through a rollercoaster on this flurry of posts and I don’t know what to think but will go pbp and see where I wind up. First. Switching but then trying to get village cred if she flips wolf feels bad way to steal cred. But then I thought a wolf wouldn’t do that at expense of wolf. Unless early bus but obv that didn’t turn up. So more village

There’s 20 minutes and as someone in the 4 way tie if you could make that decision in enough time that I’ll role reveal if I have to I’d appreciate it.

I was iffy on going for it in the first place since she is so often misyeeted day 1, but I decided to. He convinced me to back off for the cycle.

I stayed away for this same reasoning even though she had me wondering again D1. So I understand

I'm sad alley got yeeted. She was really excited about this theme and I'm kinda confused how she ended up with the most votes, but i think it was a close vote too and spread out so that doesnt help

thoughts I have so far:
AM-I can't read her for crap, esp not on D1
genny- normal d1 genny NAI
mel- I didn't like trying to make something out of cray's lack of presense when cray had come on the thread and clearly said why she wasn't here. it felt lazy and an easy thing to point at, when there was 10 pages of thread already made to find other things to have issues with
mkg- i like overall tone and reasoning
samac- ok her TONE seems normal but I'm not jamming with her logic trains? I felt better about her the closer we got to yeet but I'm not convinced
stagg- yo what in heck. what was your logic for your vote on me? And then voting alley for seemingly no other reason than chaos imo??
TME-doesn't sound different from what I've seen from village TME
visc-I like contributions so far
zenge- I like how he's interacting with people and questioning their votes

I backed off her earlier but it was a god damn 4 way tie the whole last 30 minutes. Mel was the one I was on in the 4 way tie. I moved with 5 minutes to go onto cray for a self prez. I didn’t want to yeet cray but I didn’t want to yeet TE as she’s not hit me as wolfy yet.
I loved to cray because she was the inactive choice.
When alley became an option I preferred that over cray. So I switched.

When it was working you exclude the games where she came in like day 2 of a 36 hour cycle or if the game starts on a non yeet cycle because the first vote in those cases is after the game gets rolling.
To be honest I think I kind of forgot how much exposition she writes as a wolf because my notes just said “wolf - exposition” or “village - no exposition” or “election cycle” and me this game took that comment she made as exposition, when it wasn’t as much as she usually writes as wolf. I think partially because she was already pinging me so hard I took it to fit my narrative.
It’s my fault and I apologize to her.

I do not feel bad though about breaking a 4 way tie.

Maybe you should play more fast and loose. I agree with most everything. Except I don’t know that I could have my list that defined and it wouldn’t be that order. (I will have to go back and see where Cary gave reason for lack of presence bc I must’ve missed it or forgotten)

MKG seemed to be different this game. In a good way. Making more sense.

Cubs was seeming as village as ever. And I know there is reasons, but I got really bad pings from 4 way death push. Sounded like a….(!) serial killer. Lol

Yesterday was busy day so it forced me to have two rushed reads separated by long periods which makes it difficult to keep everything together. Then catching up on close past my bedtime is never a good idea. I will likely have to go back through today and revisit everything.

Makes more sense. I missed close. On catch-up I was just reading and not noting the times the posts were done. It is different to read through close relaxed and not in the panic mode. Still not a good look but D1 vote. I’m glad it wasn’t tie. I think things may look clearer today.

Also. Panic mode is good bc it can force mistakes by wolves as well…
