I have become interested in podiatry but I do not know any of the local podiatrist. What is the best way to go about shadowing one? I don't want to inconvenience anyone or come off as being rude. Any advice would be great, Thanks!

Here is the Mentor Network, these docs will usually let you shadow. (I'm assuming from your location, you're in Arkansas) You can also search for a local Pod on Google or any other Search, and just cold call/email the Office until you find one that will let you shadow. If you have any other questions, just let me know. Have fun!

You can call a school and ask as well. I know New York's admissions office sets up potential students with doctors to shadow. All depends on who is around your area though.

Yep, just call around. Show the podiatrist you are interested in learning and 9 times out of 10 theyll be happy to assist you.
