Hi guys!! I have not received an acceptance email however i did receive an email from Dr. Smith asking me to consider the OTD program starting end of this month. I'm confused on what this means regarding the status of my MSOT application, if she said i have a strong application that qualifies for the OTD program i would assume i will also be accepted into MSOT? Did anyone only receive the OTD offer but no MSOT acceptance yet?

I received my acceptance today 🙂

Hello! I was curious to hear from those who received an offer for the OTD program—are you planning to accept the offer or remain committed to the Fall MSOT program?

I declined and committed to the MSOT program! The OTD is a bit expensive, and I preferred the Fall start.

Same thing happened to me and it was confusing so I just directly asked if I would be admitted to the MSOT program and they said yes, then later I got my acceptance email!

So far the class has been pretty straightforward, the quizzes are based off of reading and lecture but it's very googleable lol. Havent gotten to the presentations yet but i heard that the professor is very strict on formatting (araujo)

Hi! I emailed in early January when a lot of people were hearing back and asked about what that communication would look like. They said that the deadline was extended to March 1st and that once a decision has been made, they will notify us via email of that decision.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to make an update that I just heard back and received an email from Gigi Smith offering me conditional acceptance to the MSOT program!
For anyone wondering my stats were
Major: Kinesiology
Cumulative GPA 3.85
Last 60 Unit GPA 4.0 (edit it was actually-3.98)
Pereq GPA 3.83- (1 B in stats)
Art/skills course and Neuroanatomy in progress
Observation hours: 110 Pediatric Hours (at time of application-Later updated it to 200 hours)
Community service: 20 hours at goodwill
2 LOR from professors
1 LOR from an OT
1 eval form from another OT
1 eval form from the good will manager
I took the GRE and did include them in my application
GRE: 160 Quant 153 Verbal 4.5 Writing
Additional Experiences:
Tutor at my college for 150 hours
Kids Basketball camp coach 40 hours
I also had some research experience at my college
