Do programs know if their program has been accepted/rejected? If stil rejected, can they continue calling in this moment or do they have to wait until the offer round is over to start contacting people?

I got an offer and accepted! Categorical IM

Im a non-US IMG (permanent resident) with a 22x on Step 1 & 2 with a failure on step 2. I had something on my application that made me stand out as I know majority of applicants would not have it on their application, so that is what made me stand out. I did clinical research for a year after not matching last year and built up my CV with publications and volunteering in palliative care I hope this gives everyone, including those with red flags a boost of confidence for the next round or for next year. This seems ridiculous. I’ve only seen one person on reddit have a first round offer. Something seems up. I hope round two has a slew of offers

Congrats! Did you get an interview?

No offer given to me this round despite having a great interview yesterday. By the way, programs in the west coast probably submitted their preference list last night. There is no way they would work all night to submit their preference list before 6am their time.

Does anyone know if they will update the unfilled programs list before round 2?

11am EST is the end of this round. Then it will be updated.

Congrats !

Just to make sure I didn't screw myself... we didn't need to do anything after interviews, right? No action on our end with regards to the nrmp website, right? Cause I was expecting at least 1 and have nothing.

I would suggest everyone who did not get an offer to open up the unfilled programs before it changes to take note of any shady work by the NRMP once it updates.

I took a screen shot of the original unfilled programs list. It's similar to the one that's on the website now.
