Nope, look at the link provided. Some schools provide MCAT as a single average of all three sections. Some school provide the sum (~26-30). I admit, it's kinda confusing, but if you see a number between 8-10 listed as the MCAT, you can assume they just took the average of the PS, BS, and VR sections.

I am at GA-PCOM, and in high school, my stats were something like 8 points and 9 rebounds/game. I also shot like 98% on free-throws my senior year. I think I only missed one, and was maybe 10-20 attempts shy of qualifying for the lead in the city in that category. Not bad for a big man. I did not play in college.

Just so you guys know, I worked with Admissions the last two years, and the numbers matter much less than you'd think once you have an interview. I've seen people with outstanding stats get waitlists and rejections.

Apply early to PCOM, and be relaxed and yourself at your interview!! Your personality matters very much to our admissions staff. IMO, you get your foot in the door with great stats and it is up to you to demonstrate that you're sociable and intelligent.

USMLE is impossible for most DO schools, since most/all don't collect this info, let alone make it public.

As for COMLEX, that info would have to be compiled via interviewees or current students. We've had a few half hearted attempts, but maybe a new thread would yield better results.

Hmm. I think statistics on scores, such as mean score and spread, might be more interesting and informative, but schools usually don't release this sort of information to the public.

PS: It's COMLEX, by the way, not COMPLEX.

If you end up with discrepant info for a given school, I'd suggest keeping ALL of it and citing each individually, rather than scrapping one set of data for another one deemed more reputable at the time of collection. (i.e., phone call to some random admissions person vs. published website vs. TPR book)

This information comes directly from Dr Moore, the director of recruitment at LECOM-E (a friend of mine who is thinking of applying for the next cycle emailed the admissions office for stats, and Dr Moore responded with the following information). The email was forwarded to me and Dr Moore said that it was for the most recent class (I assume this means c/o 2012):

My guess would be that PCOM is looking for something beyond the typical student. Grades don't always reflect that, so some of the students may have more varied life experiences with a lower GPA. Also, I imagine that is undergrad GPA not graduate GPA; therefore, people with a lower uGPA may have done a master's degree or SMP to be more competitive. Maybe others will have more information on this.
