The wait is killing me! Does anyone know how often the ADCOM meets up?
Once every two weeks. You should call the school and ask them.

ok, I had the interview on Oct 30th. couldn't wait so I emailed Dr.Nash who was my interviewer. He responsed with the following message within 5 minutes.
"The Admissions and Student Affairs Committee is reviewing all applicants that have been interviewed and you should hear from the Office of Student Affairs once a recommendation has been made, which may be another couple of weeks."
sounds like they stop sending more interview invitations, but look at ALL applicants they have interviewed so far. Not one to one, but all in general. competition has begun..😕
So when is the last month of interviews? Jan? Feb?
End of December!

I can't say with certainty when the last interviews will be held. I can tell you that I interviewed at the end of January last year.
Also, as a rule of thumb, ADCOMs have already decided to accept you or wait list you before you interview. They use the interview to confirm their decision. If you perform poorly, you can fall from accepted to wait listed or from the wait list to rejection. Conversely, you can leap from the wait list to being accepted if you nail the interview.
Good luck to all!

AnhPhung and Delano,
Don't think negative. Just continue on your application and submit it to SUCOP. If you cannot have your interview this year, you will be for sure next yr and ADCOM will put your application in priority. Remember it is ROLLING ADMISSIion. If you finish your application now, you won't have to do it next year. So, put your soul into it. Don't hear/read what other say. If you have passion in this field, you will be accepted just in matter of time.
GOODLUCK TO EVERYONE. I REALLY HOPE ALL OF US WILL BE ACCEPTED because PHARMACOLOGY is OUR DREAM😍😍😍

Pharmacology is not my dream. Pharmacy is my dream. A pharmacist studies pharmacology but a pharmacologist is not a pharmacist. Just don't tell the ADCOM you want to become a pharmacologist because they will tell you to enroll at UofL.
Trust me I understand. I was just giving you a hard time. 🙂Thanks, Wes
Anything relate to study of medicine is what it interests me.![]()

has anyone heard back from their september or november interviews? have they already filled the class and strating a waitlist?
I don't think they will put the application for those who didnt get an interview in priority. They have to get in line like the rest of us. Pharmacology is not my dream. I think there some schools that offer pharmacology courses.

Mine was on 10/2, I was accepted.
Legit, for those who turn in the application now, they are already ahead of any next yr applicants. Besides, they don't need to do their applications because they can reactivate their file. Also, they have shown how they are interest in SUCOP's pharmacy program and not others.![]()
Yup, you're right. The earlier you apply, the better chance you have. Submitted my application in early August, interviewed on Oct 30, still waiting for their response.
Good luck to all of you who got interview. Hopefully we'll hear from them soon before Thanksgiving. 😀

nervous habits,
I'd just like to say that I am very familiar with your qualifications and I was not surprised when you got accepted. Anyone who sums up someone by a GPA alone is not paying very close attention - thankfully the adcoms at Sullivan were and realized a great candidate when they saw one! 😀
Thanks you guys! 😀 It makes me feel better to know that I have people who agree with me. It just really makes me upset when someone on here uses me as an example without directly asking me what my other qualifications are. I am NOT an example of what it is like slack off during my prepharm courses, and still get into pharmacy school (not saying that everyone with a lower GPA slacks off....example of low GPA, but not slacking: Me.). It just makes me very upset when I get PM's from people asking me for advice because they went out and partied during their first few years, have a 2.XXX GPA, no work experience/ECs, and expect me to give them advice, especially since I came to my school to study my butt off and get into pharmacy school.
----Stepping off the soap box and returning to my normal, happy self. 😎
Nervoushabit, I never mean it. Please read the post above. I already delete what I wrote.
It wasn't a big deal. I just wanted to let everyone know that if they want to use me as an example, they should also use the rest of my qualifications. I've listed them many times because people have asked me things like "OMG, did you for real get in with a 2.96 or .97 GPA? Dude, guys, I have a chance!" Sorry, dude, but no, you don't, unless you have outstanding ECs, LoRs, and a decent smile 😛.

I agree with you amigo.
People need to leave NH alone as she is absolutely correct. Besides, everyone starts back at 0.00 7/6/2010.....may the best person win. 😉

You are the lottery winner enough saidpharm schools have to let ppl in with low gpas because they have compassion for this profession. I don't know if ppl with low gpas are capable of getting good grades in pharm schools. Nervoushabits, i think it is ok for ppl to use you as an example. You give them hope👍 like that song "You are my sunshine"

I think every pharm school look at GPA and PCAT scores. Some schools look at your GPA first. Sullivan is an exception because it is a new school. I think a year from now Sullivan and schools in California will require PCAT. The door is closing soon. APPLY NOW!

SUCOP just got rid of the requirement, they aren't bringing it back in one year. You are incorrect sir.
uhm....did I have a decent smile in that day? 🙂

Hey DuocSi2013, you should give other ppl a chance! don't be a seat hogger. USN is also a 3 year program like Sullivan. You should stick with one school and let people on the waiting list have a chance.
