Question that I found on TBR's first practice test in the Pscyh section:

46. By the start of the great recession in 2008, annual health-related costs in the United States were approximately:

A. $3.8 trillion.
B. $2.1 trillion.B is the best answer. $2.1 trillion, or about 15% of the gross domestic product of $13.8 trillion. This money went (and still goes) to hospitals, nursing homes, insurance companies, doctors, health workers, drugs, dentists, medical supplies, government research and support, administration, construction, and various providers. Spending on health-related expenses is thus a central facet of the US economy, with a far greater percentage of GDP spent on this sector of the economy than is true in many other countries?but without substantially better health indicators resulting from the expense than the indicators for those countries.
The best answer is B.
C. $1.6 trillion.
D. $1.4 trillion.

Wondering if this is indicative, at all, of the quality of the practice tests or is actually reflective of MCAT reality.

The authors of the psychology and sociology materials (for the books, the course, and the exams) took the new MCAT, so I'm assuming that while this may not be directly from an MCAT, it's on par in terms of random facts that show up on a couple questions.
